Know All About Sajid Khan As A Contestant In Bigg Boss 2022 – Season 16
During the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 16, Sajid Khan surprised everyone by appearing as a contestant. We all know that this time of year is the time when Bigg Boss returns and we watch for hours together in anticipation of how a group of contestants survives in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss house for over fifteen weeks.
In its 16th season, the Bigg Boss house will welcome Bollywood director and #MeToo accuser Sajid Khan. Since making his directorial debut with Darna Zaroori Hai (2006), Sajid has directed some of the biggest films in Indian cinema, including Akshay Kumar’s Housefull and Housefull 2.
Sajid Khan is the brother of Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan. In addition to being cousins with Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar is also a filmmaker. As a result of the #MeToo movement, Sajid Khan has been away from the limelight. A number of Sajid’s female colleagues have accused him of s*xual misconduct. The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) barred him from directing films in light of these serious allegations.
Sajid has been accused of s*xual misconduct by actresses Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra, Rachel White, Simran Suri, Marina Kunwar, Aahana Kumra, Dimple Paula, Sherlyn Chopra, and journalist Karishma Upadhyay. As part of the documentary Death of Bollywood (2021), Jiah Khan’s sister Karishma Khan also accused the director of s*xually harassing Jiah.
Despite being set to make a comeback with Housefull 4 (2019), Sajid Khan was asked to step down from the project due to s*xual allegations against him. Despite this, Sajid was still given writer credit for the film. The film 100%, starring John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shehnaaz Gill, and Nora Fatehi, marks Sajid’s return as a director.
During his interview with Bigg Boss 16 host Salman Khan, Sajid Khan revealed that after directing “the industry’s biggest stars such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Mithun da (Chakraborty), Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor, Daboo ji (Randhir Kapoor), Ritesh Deshmukh and Saif Ali Khan,” he became arrogant due to the success of his films. In my case, success destroyed me, as there is a saying that states “failures destroy people.”
When he gave “back-to-back three hits,” Sajid Khan believed he was infallible and could never make a bad film. But then he realized he was wrong – his 2013 film Himmatwala and 2014 comedy-romance Humshakals failed miserably at the box office.
