Rashmi’s father, Madhav Patankar, used to own a small chemical manufacturing company. Madhav died in June 2020 at the age of 78. She is the second of her parents’ three children. Shridhar Patankar, Rashmi’s brother, owns the real estate firm Samved Real Estate Private Limited.
