Life of Nikola Moro

Nikola Moro was born on March 12th, 1998. He is a Croatian footballer who currently plays as an attacking midfielder for GNK Dinamo Zagreb, GNK Dinamo Zagreb reserves, and the Croatia national under-19 football team. He has made one cup appearance in addition to one league appearance for the senior GNK Dinamo Zagreb lineup.

Nikola joined the Croatian unit in 2014 after graduating from the youth academy. He began playing football at the age of six and moved to Zagreb at the age of eleven. He suffered a severe injury after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during an international match against Moldova U21 on March 27, 2018. On 14 February 2019, he made his Europa League debut, losing 2-1 away to Viktoria Plze. On August 17, 2020, he signed a five-year contract with Dynamo Moscow of the Russian Premier League.

He began playing football at the age of six and moved to Zagreb at the age of eleven. Nikola’s father Miro, a Hajduk Split fan in his early days in Solin, wished for him to consider a career at the Hajduk academy, but he chose the Dinamo Zagreb academy instead. Nikola joined Dinamo Zagreb’s senior team from the youth academy in 2014.

Moro played the entire 90-minute game for his senior team against Lokomotiva in May 2016. On December 7, he made his Champions League debut, losing 2-0 away to Juventus. He signed a new contract until 2022 on February 22, 2017.
