Club Career
Talbi, a French native, started off playing football with the youth academies of FC Les Lilas and Paris FC. At the age of 12, Talbi transferred to the ES Tunis academy and advanced through the youth levels until his family was forced to go back to Tunisia. On April 2, 2017, Talbi made his professional debut for ES Tunis against CS Sfaxien in a 0-0 Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 match.
Talbi joined with Aykur Rizespor in the Turkish Süper Lig on June 20, 2018. However, he agreed to a four-year deal with FC Rubin Kazan of the Russian Premier League on August 9, 2021. Moreover, Talbi committed to a five-year deal with Lorient in France on July 18, 2022.
