A goalkeeper with Persepolis of the Persian Gulf Pro League and the Iranian national team, Alireza Safar Beiranvand (born on 21 September 1992) is a professional footballer from Iran. At the 2015 and 2019 AFC Asian Cups as well as the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Beiranvand played for Iran on the international stage.
Beiranvand was the first Iranian nominee for an individual prize at The Best FIFA Football Awards in 2017, making history. From 2014 through 2019, he won the award for best goalkeeper in the Persian Gulf Pro League four times in a row. In 2019, he was also named Iranian Footballer of the Year. He ranks as the second-cleanest goalkeeper in the world with 23 clean sheets in 37 games.

Early Life
Beiranvand was raised in a nomadic household and was born in the little village of Sarab-e Yas in Khorramabad County, Lorestan Province. In order to pursue his ambition of being a professional football player, Beiranvand ran away from home when he was a teenager and relocated to Tehran, where he briefly lived on the streets.
At the age of 18, Biranvand married, giving birth to a boy called Taha and a daughter named Barana in 2010.

Naft Tehran
- Since 2011, Beiranvand has competed for Naft Tehran.
- On October 25, 2011, he made his Hazfi Cup debut against Damash.
