In many respects, celebrities are a distinct species from the rest of us, yet occasionally they are the same as everyone else. They enjoy doing something fun in their free time.

So whether you enjoy collecting comic books or skydiving, there’s likely a celebrity you can identify with. You never know; you could even be motivated to explore something new in your free time.

Check out these famous celebrities’ strange and interesting hobbies.

Rosario Dawson and comic books

Rosario Dawson plays nurse Claire Temple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but her involvement with comic books goes beyond that. She enjoys going to Comic-Con and has worked on comic book projects. She co-created Image’s Occult Task Force, a miniseries about detectives who look into crimes using magic. But Dawson is the Star Trek fanatic who uses certain Klingon words in her everyday speech.

Nicole Kidman and skydiving

Nicole Kidman loves to take risks. She revealed that she has a skydiving license and urged every lady to jump out of an aircraft at least once in her lifetime.

According to her, skydiving is the closest thing to flying. Kidman doesn’t want to bungee jump, though, as she does not find it classy.

Taylor Swift and snow globes

Taylor Swift’s friends can hope for some lovely (and customized) holiday presents. The singer likes snow globes a lot and makes one of her own each holiday season. She revealed that she uses mason jars, vintage Christmas ornaments, and glitter to build her snow globes.

She admitted that she learned the art of making snow globes on Pinterest. According to her, making them during the winter makes her feel young again.

David Beckham and his obsession with tattoos and cars

Although David Beckham is known for his fashion and soccer skills, his major interest is tattoo collection. He had about 40 tattoos all over his body the last time he went public.

He also enjoys car collecting and has a sizable collection of expensive cars. He also has a passion for wine and stores all of his bottles in a magnificent wine cellar. He has a passion for both design and art.

Jason Alexander and casino life

Jason, who is best known for his role as George Costanza on Seinfeld, enjoys playing poker whenever he can, both live and online. Alex frequently appears in poker-related television programs. In its eighth season, he won Celebrity Poker Showdown, taking home $500,000 for his chosen charity. Alexander’s reputation as a poker player has helped him get sponsorship calls from the best online poker rooms.

While there is quite a good number of celebrities who love the casino appeal, Alex is a documented celebrity who does it for a good course. He has made huge sums of money from playing his favorite games. As a pastime, it can also be a highly rewarding venture that everyone can try by identifying a reputable Keno online casino at https://www.topaustraliangambling.com/online-casinos/online-keno/ and picking a game from a wide array of available games.

Former US President Barack Obama’s love for basketball and music

When Barack Obama was a senior in high school, he started playing basketball. He is such a fan of basketball that while he was president of the United States, he erected a full-length court inside the White House. But when he’s not shooting hoops, of course, he plays golf.

Obama does not hide his love of music and his admiration of jazz, R&B, and Motown. At one time, he accepted Jay-Z’s invitation to watch his performance at Carnegie Hall in 2012. Obama also loves scrapbooking, a pastime that women often pursue.

Cameron Diaz and snowboarding

It has long been known that Cameron Diaz is an extreme sports enthusiast who loves to push herself to the limit. She has skydived quite often together with her friend and fellow actor Drew Barrymore, but snowboarding is her favorite activity, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything. She has stated that she will continue snowboarding even if she has fractured bones after suffering severe injuries on many occasions.

Tom Hanks and collecting old typewriters

According to a documentary about those who still use the completely outmoded devices, “California Typewriter,” Tom Hanks owns a collection of roughly 250 old typewriters. Hanks even penned a collection of short stories that each had a typewriter.

“The tactile pleasure of typing old school is incomparable to what you get from a de rigueur laptop,” he told the New York Times when he asked about his passion for old typewriters.

Johnny Depp’s Barbie collection

Strange as it might sound, Johnny Depp reportedly has a sizable Barbie collection that he continually adds to. According to him, he began collecting the Barbie collection alongside his daughter Lily-Rose and couldn’t bear to part with them once she outgrew them. While that makes sense, he has gone on to add more new dolls to the collection, including a Lindsay Lohan doll.
