Sudeep Sanjeev, widely known as Sudeep or as Kichcha Sudeep is a well-known Indian film actor, producer, screenwriter, director television presenter, and singer. He is primarily working in Kannada language movies and has also done some Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil language movies.
Sudeep was born on 2 September 1973 in Shimoga in the Shimoga district of present-day Karnataka. His family had migrated to Shimoga from Narasimharajapura. His father’s name is Sanjeev Manjappa and his mother’s name is Saroja. In 2000, He met Priya Radhakrishna in Bengaluru, and they wedded in 2001. The couple is blessed with a daughter Saanvi was born in 2004. The duo separated in September 2015.

After completing his primary schooling he got enrolled in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, and got a degree in B.tech in Mechanical Engineering. He represented the college in under-17 cricket. He attended the Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai, where he overcame his nervousness.
Sudeep acted in a TV serial before he went on to act in films. Titled Premada Kadambari and directed by Sudhakar Bhandari, it was aired on Udaya TV. His first movie was Thayavva in 1997 where he played the role of a supporting actor in the movie. His first two movies O Kusuma Bale and Brahma were abandoned mid-filming.
Sudeep then portrayed a supporting role in the Sunil Kumar Desai-directed film Prathyartha and landed the leading actor role in the same director’s movie, Sparsha. In 2001, Sudeep acted in the hit film Huchcha, which gave him his first big fan following.

In the year 2015, he featured in Ranna, a remake of the Telugu film, Attarintiki Daredi, and played a cameo role as a Persian arms trader in Baahubali: The Beginning, directed by S. S. Rajamouli—the year’s highest-grossing film.
Sudeep constantly sings in his screen roles such as Vaalee, Ranga SSLC, Chandu, Nalla, #73, Veera Madakari, Kempe Gowda, Shaanthi Nivaasa, Bachchan, and also for other films including Ring Road Shubha, Mandya to Mumbai, and Raate.
