Life Journey
He was born on the 2nd of August 1989 to his parents, Ramdam Chadli and Fatima Chelski. It is believed that he was born in Liege, Belgium.
In relation to Nacer’s siblings, he has two elder brothers who are Jamal Chadli and Amine Chadli. In addition, the Belgian international has a younger sister who is yet to be named. We searched the entire internet for her name, but we couldn’t find it. Nevertheless, as soon as the information is made available, we will update the page.
Further, when Chadli was still a child, his father decided to emigrate from Morocco to Belgium, in search of a better life for him.
There was a time when the majority of young kids were involved in football. Chadli’s love of football is no surprise, therefore, since he has been involved in the sport since he was a very young child. After he graduated from high school, the Belgian international began to train with the club he calls home – JS Their-a-Liege. Having impressed both his coaches and scouts simultaneously, Chadli moved to the youth academy of Standard Liege in order to continue his development.
As a result of spending some time at the Liege academy, Nacer eventually moved on to AGOVVV Apeldom, where the future Belgium international would begin his professional career.
As we return to the matter at hand, Nacer is an extremely introverted person, as Chadli has not allowed any of his relationships to be revealed to the public.
In other words, we have no idea whether the Belgian native is engaged or married, for that matter.
As you can see from Nacer’s Instagram posts, he seems to be an amiable person who likes to spend his free time on tours and vacations to different parts of the world.
In addition, the Anderlecht winger is a keen fashion lover as he regularly posts pictures of his different clothing styles through various social media platforms.
Having signed a contract with Istanbul Basaksehir FK on September 10, 2020, the winner will earn $8.80 million per year under this deal. In our calculations, this means he earns an average of $24,110 per day and $1004 per hour!

Club Career
Apeldoorn
Chadli played youth football for JS Thier-à-Liège, Standard Liège, and MVV Maastricht.
MVV’s youth academy scouted him in the summer of 2007 and he was subsequently signed by Dutch second division club AGOVV Apeldoorn.
He was considered an emerging talent there. Chadli was being tested by AGOVV under the alias Kalife, because technical manager Ted van Leeuwen was worried other clubs would show interest. Chadli scored AGOVV’s first goal against FC Volendam in his first professional match.
Twente
Chadli joined FC Twente in the summer of 2010 and became a first-team player for the Eredivisie champions in the following season.
He scored the winning goal away to title rivals PSV in his debut in the Eredivisie.
Against Internazionale on 14 September in the competition’s group stage, he made his European and Champions League debuts.
On 29 September, he scored his first Champions League goal at Tottenham Hotspur (4–1), and on 2 November, he scored his second at Werder Bremen in a 0–2 away victory.
On 7 December, he scored a free-kick against Tottenham in the Champions League to secure a draw for Twente at home, 3–3.
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur agreed with Twente to sign Chadli for a transfer fee of £7 million on 21 July 2013.
Spurs confirmed that Chadli would join the team for pre-season training in Hong Kong, subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical.
On 23 July, the club announced that Chadli had joined the squad that was training prior to the club’s participation in the 2013 Premier League Asia Trophy.
Chadli signed a contract with Tottenham on 26 July and made his debut against AS Monaco on 3 August in a 5–2 friendly defeat.
He made his Premier League debut on 18 August, the first match of the 2013–14 season, against Crystal Palace in a 1–0 win, then scored his first Premier League goal on 12 February 2014, a 0–4 win away to Newcastle United.
Chadli scored twice in Tottenham’s 4–0 win over Queens Park Rangers on 24 August 2014, the second matchday of the 2014–15 season.
It was the start of a good run of form for Chadli, who went on to score several goals, including one against Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal.
His run of good form, however, was cut short by injury, and before he could return to form, tragedy struck his family when his father passed away.
In late April, Chadli slowly returned to form, scoring two goals in two games against Newcastle United and Southampton to bring his season total to 12, 10 in the Premier League.
Chadli made it 11 Premier League goals with a rounding of the goalkeeper in Hull City’s 2–0 win on 16 May 2015.
West Bromwich Albion
On 29 August 2016, West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur agreed to sign Chadli for a club-record transfer fee of £13 million. In a 1–0 loss to Bournemouth, he made his debut.
Chadli scored twice and had two assists on his home debut, his second league appearance for the club, which ended as a 4-2 win over West Ham United.
Chadli battled recurring thigh injuries in 2017-18, making only three appearances for a West Bromwich Albion team that was relegated.
On 16 October 2017, he scored one goal in five appearances, a free kick in a 1–1 draw with Leicester City.
The signing of Chadli by Monaco was announced on 30 August 2018. West Bromwich Albion received more than €12 million for the services of the multipurpose midfielder.
During his time at the club, he was paired with Youri Tielemans, a member of the Belgian national team. Chadli played for Monaco in the Champions League.
As Monaco struggled with relegation throughout the competition, he had an unsuccessful season in Ligue 1.
During Chadli’s time at Monaco, he played only 1,058 minutes and he did not score a goal or make an assist.
Loan to Anderlecht
As of 11 August, Chadli has joined Anderlecht on a season-long loan from Monaco after being sidelined by the French club.
Vincent Kompany was able to persuade Chadli to sign for the Belgian First Division A.
Having played in Belgium after Kompany and Simon Mignolet, he was the third Belgian international to do so.
The Belgian club took over his entire contract (more than € 230,000 gross per month) from Monaco.
Anderlecht wanted to invest in the development of their young players by signing Chadli and several other experienced players.
He made his Anderlecht debut on 17 August 2019 in a 4–2 loss to Kortrijk. The match also marked his debut in the highest Belgian division, which he had left when he was 17 years old.
Chadli was one of the highlights of the club’s season despite his injury problems.
A total of eight goals and five assists were scored by him in 17 league appearances. But Anderlecht did not sign him permanently when his loan expired, as the club did not have the finances.
İstanbul Başakşehir
Chadli moved to the Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir on 10 September 2020. The number 11 on his jersey is the result of a two-year contract with the club.
Başakşehir were the defending Champions League champions and thus qualified directly for the group stage. He still had one year left on his contract with Monaco at the time of signing, but had no chance of playing there.
At the club he reunited with a number of former Premier League players, including Martin Škrtel and Demba Ba.
Chadli appeared for the first time for Başakşehir in a league match against Gençlerbirli*i on 8 November, after being hurt for the first two months of his tenure with the club.
As Başakşehir trailed 0-1 in the 79th minute, he came on as a substitute for Deniz Türüç. Chadli played a key role in his club’s 2–1 victory, giving two assists as his team turned the game around.
International Career
As a dual citizen of Belgium and Morocco, Chadli could thus represent either nation.
On 17 November 2010, he made his Moroccan debut in a 1–1 friendly draw against Northern Ireland at Windsor Park, where he was named man of the match.
Although he had not yet played for Morocco in a competitive match, he announced on 28 January 2011 that he intended to represent Belgium at the international level.
In a 9 February friendly match against Finland, he made his Belgian debut.
Chadli has played as a striker for the Belgian national team, scoring his first international goal in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier against Azerbaijan at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on 29 March 2011.
In a pre-2014 World Cup friendly against Luxembourg, Chadli scored what would have been his third international goal.
The match, however, was later deemed invalid because coach Marc Wilmots made seven substitutions instead of the six permitted.
Chadli was named to Belgium’s World Cup squad on 13 May 2014. Despite starting in midfield, he was replaced by Dries Mertens at halftime in the team’s first match of the tournament, a 2–1 victory over Algeria in Belo Horizonte.
Earlier this year, he was named to Belgium’s preliminary squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
In the Round of 16 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Chadli scored the winning goal in injury time to lift Belgium to a 3–2 victory over Japan. In the 2018 World Cup, the BBC panel chose this goal as the goal of the tournament.
In 2007, he made his professional debut playing for AGOVV Apeldoorn in the Eerste Divisie League. He scored his first goal for the club against FC Volendam.
In 2010, he made his international debut with Monaco but only played one match for the country due to his move to Belgium.
In the year 2011, he made his debut for Belgium against Azerbaijan which ended in a 4-1 victory.
Chadli is an attacking midfielder as well as a winger who can play on both sides because he has the ability to use both legs.
In 2014, he scored two goals as Tottenham defeated Queens Park Rangers 4-0.
Chadli was struck with an injury that took him out of football for quite a bit of time. His father later passed away following this incident.
As a result, he scored back-to-back goals in successive matches against Southampton and Newcastle United to get back to his usual form.
His career began with AGOVV Apeldoorn in the Eerste Divisie League in 2007 where he scored 29 goals in 93 appearances.
Later, he moved to FC Twente in the Eredivisie league, where he scored 40 goals in 123 appearances.
Spurs brought him to the Premier League in 2014, where he scored 25 goals in 119 games.
In the 2016-17 and 17-18 seasons, he scored six goals in 36 appearances for West Bromwich Albion.

Life Journey
Sandra Oh was born in Nepean, Ontario, on July 20, 1971, the daughter of middle-class South Korean emigrants Oh Jun-su (John), a businessman, and Jeon Young-Nam, a biochemist. Her parents had traveled to the area in the early 1960s.
She has a brother, Ray, and a sister, Grace, and raised up in a Christian household, living on Camwood Crescent in Nepean, where she began acting and practicing ballet at age four to fix her pigeon-toed stance. Rising up, Oh was one of the few youths of Asian origin in Nepean.
At age ten, Oh performed The Wizard of Woe in a class musical named The Canada Goose. Later, at Sir Robert Borden High School, she established the environmental club BASE (Borden Active Students for the Environment), leading a drive against the use of styrofoam cups.
While in high school, she was selected as a student council president. She also performed the flute and continued both her ballet training and acting studies, though she remembered that she “was not good sufficient to be a trained dancer” and finally concentrated on acting.
She took drama classes, performed in school plays, and followed the drama club, where she took part in the Canadian Improv Games and Skit Row High, a comedy group. Against her parents’ advice, she refused a four-year journalism scholarship to Carleton University to study drama at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, paying her own way.
Oh told her parents that she would try acting for a few years, and agreed to return to university if it abandoned. Following on forgoing university, she has stated that she is “the only person in the family who doesn’t have a master’s in something”. Soon after graduating from the National Theatre School in 1993, she acted in a stage production of David Mamet’s Oleanna in London, Ontario.
Around the same time, she got characters in biographical television films of two significant female Chinese-Canadians: as Vancouver author Evelyn Lau in The Diary of Evelyn Lau, where she got the performance over more than 1,000 others who auditioned, and as Adrienne Clarkson in a CBC biopic of Clarkson’s life.

Actress
Oh starred as Cristina Yang, Seattle Grace Hospital’s type-A cardiothoracic surgeon, on Grey’s Anatomy 10 seasons. Toward the end of her time on the show, Oh made $350,000 per episode, according to TV Guide, which amounted to $8.4 million per season, depending on how many episodes there were a season and if Oh starred in all of them.
The salary earned her the fifth highest-paid TV star at the time, a title she shared with her Grey’s Anatomy costars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, who was given the same rate. Ah, the question everyone desires to know: What is Sandra Oh’s net worth. According to WoodGram, Oh’s net worth is $25 million, which seems about right given how much she made on Grey’s Anatomy and continues to make on Grey’s reruns.
Further, she’s also acted in films like Under the Tuscan Sun and The Princess Diaries, which only adds to her bank account. She’s also entertained the 2019 Golden Globes. Though the awards show doesn’t pay astronomical numbers, it still sounds like a pretty penny (some sources report that hosts are paid around $15,000 per awards show) for a few hours of work.

I Guess All The Fans Would Lose Their Minds And They Would Probably Take Over Twitter For At Least 24 Hours. It Won’t Happen, Though. Sandra Oh Said At Multiple Occasions That She Would Not Return To The Show Because She Thinks Her Character’s Journey Has Found Its Conclusion. Furthermore, I Think Any Attempt At Reintroducing Her In The Show Would End Up Disappointing Everyone So. Nope. Nevertheless, I Certainly Hope That One Day Meredith Will Leave For Switzerland Where She’ll Live With Cristina Forever.

After graduating from high school despite difficult circumstances, Jacklyn enrolled in night school while raising Jeffrey as a newborn. After Jeff’s parents split, his mom married Miguel Mike Bezos, an immigrant from Cuba, in April 1968. At a very young age, Bezos showed his interest in science & technology, and once he reportedly created/constructed an electrical alarm to keep out his siblings from his room.

Career
Before Amazon
Jeff Bezos worked a variety of positions after finishing graduation with honours from Princeton University and eventually joining a New York investment company D.E. Shaw & Co in 1990.
Bezos was quickly promoted to Sr. vice president, the company’s youngest position, and was in responsible of researching Internet investment opportunities. His business imagination was ignited by its huge potential of web usage was rising at a rate of more than 2,000 percent per year.
Amazon
Bezos left D.E. Shaw in 1994 to create a virtual bookshop in Seattle, Washington. Jeff began creating the site’s software named Amazon from the garage of his home with a small team of employees.
Amazon soon rose to the top of the e-commerce world. The website was user-friendly & open 24 hours per day, encouraging visitors to write their original book reviews and providing discounts, personalised suggestions, and search for out of print books.
In 1999, Bezos expanded the site’s functionality by adding auctions and investing in additional virtual retailers.
Amazon’s success prompted other merchants, including large book chains, to open online storefronts.
As additional businesses competed for Internet money, Jeff Bezos realised the need to expand, and by 2005, Amazon was selling a wide range of items, including consumer electronics, fashion, and hardware.
In 2006, Amazon added to its diversification by launching Amazon Web Services (AWS), another cloud-computing business that grew to become the world’s largest.
In late 2007, Amazon introduced the Kindle, an online book reader featuring wireless Internet access that allows consumers to purchase, install, read, and save a large number of books upon demand.
In 2010, Amazon reported that Kindle book sales had overtaken hardback book sales. With its Amazon Studios branch, Amazon began producing its own television series and films in the same year.
Amazon’s annual net sales grew between $510,000 in 1995 and $600 million in 1998, and from $19.1 billion in 2008 to nearly $233 billion in 2018. AWS accounted for over half of the company’s operational profits in 2018.
Amazon made record profits two years later, and its sales for the fourth quarter of that year reached $100 billion mark. The staggering figures were fueled in part by an increase in home buying during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Jeff Bezos stated in February 2021 that he will be stepping resigned as CEO later that year. He did, however, want to stay as executive chairman of Amazon.
Blue Origin
Bezos started a human space flight firm named Blue Origin, in September 2000. Bezos has been interested in space flight for a long time and the evolution process of human existence throughout Solar System.
Bezos claimed in 2015 that he was working on an orbital launch vehicle that will make its first launch in the late 2010s. Blue Origin’s New Shepard spacecraft successfully launched into space in November, reaching a test altitude – 329,839 feet before landing vertically back at the launch facility in West Texas.
From 2016, he has been quite open about his plans & ambitions to populate our solar system. And he has started selling $1 billion in Amazon shares each year to fund Blue Origin’s operations.
Jeff Bezos stated in 2018 that the core purpose of Blue Origin would be to be more focused on conserving Earth’s natural resources through transforming humanity to a multi-planetary species.
The Washington Post
Bezos announced his $250 million cash acquisition of The Washington Post on August 5, 2013.
Bezos began remaking the newspaper firm as a media & technology firm in January 2016, rebuilding its digital media, digital apps, and analytics tools.
For the first period since Bezos bought the paper in 2013, the paper became profitable in 2016, thanks to an increase in online reading.
Bezos Expeditions
Bezos Expeditions, Jeff Bezos’s venture capital business, is where he makes personal investments. He was among the Google’s original stockholders, as he invested $250 thousand through Bezos Expeditions.
He also put money into Unity Biotechnology, a survival research company that aims to halt or stop the ageing process.
Bezos has stakes in Unity Biotechnology, Juno Therapeutics, GRAIL, and Zocdoc, among others, in the healthcare industry.
Jeff Bezos also contributes to charitable endeavours through direct gifts and Bezos Expeditions-funded non-profit enterprises.
Altos Labs
Bezos and Yuri Milner, co-founded Altos Labs in September 2021. Altos Labs is a well-funded biotechnology startup focused on using cellular reprogramming to produce longevity drugs. Juan Carlos Izpisa Belmonte, Steve Horvath, & Shinya Yamanaka are among the company’s top scientists.

Alexandr Wang (born Jan 1997) is the CEO and co-founder of Scale AI. The most recent Silicon Valley wonder boy, Wang dropped out of college to become the youngest billionaire in history. Despite the fact that the young man’s photo has already appeared in countless magazines about the rich and famous, his success is not the result of a hyphenated name, a show business celebrity, or a large inheritance, but due to his bold entrepreneurial vision. In Wang’s case, his parents were physicists who worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory on weapons projects. Upon graduating from Los Alamos High School, he attended MIT to study mathematics and computer science.
As a software engineer for Addepar in 2014, Wang dropped out of MIT to attend the Y Combinator accelerator and work full-time at Scale AI. When he was 17 years old, he became the tech lead for Quora between 2014 and 2016. After that, he worked for Hudson River Trading for less than one year as an algorithm developer. After working at Quora for several years, he met Lucy Guo, with whom he co-founded Scale AI in June 2016.

Alexandr Wang Family- Parents, Siblings, And Education
There is a possibility that the young billionaire’s technological and scientific expertise can be attributed, at least in part, to the accomplishments of his family. Born to weapons physicist parents, Wang grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico, the sleepy town where the United States developed its first atomic bomb during World War II.
In 6th grade, he entered his first math contest with the intention of winning a trip to Disney World. In addition to participating in science bowls and physics Olympiads, he also competed in physics contests.
Wang grew up in the state of New Mexico. During his school years, Wang, who clearly inherited a brilliant mind, participated frequently in math and coding competitions.
When Wang was 17, most high school students were preparing for their trip to university and beyond, but Wang was already working full-time as a coder for Quora.
As of 2023, Alexandr Wang has a net worth of approximately $1 billion.

Wang’s business received approximately US$350 million in investment backing the previous year. As a result of this financial backing, the young business owner’s company was valued at US$7.3 billion, in addition to Scale’s revenue of US$100 million.
Forbes estimates that the one percent ownership he owns in the company has resulted in a net worth of one billion dollars. That is not too shabby for someone 25 years of age. As this article was being written, he was ranked 2,534th on Forbes’ list of the world’s wealthiest individuals.
Founder and CEO of Scale Al, a startup he founded when he was 19 years old. Alexandr Wang is not to be confused with a similarly named fashion designer.
Its breakthroughs in massive data tagging have attracted the attention of dozens of companies. Who seeking to improve their automated processes for audio transcription, image recognition, and document collection.
Data is traditionally used in graphs and tables to support decision-making, but Wang’s software converts a bunch of numbers into valuable insights for corporations in every sector.
Scale AI is the most recent Silicon Valley unicorn – a company valued at more than a billion dollars before going public. Scale AI’s software is used by the US Army to quantify the damage caused by the Russian bombing in Ukraine, among other things, and Wang’s impressive client list includes Uber, Airbnb, Toyota, PayPal, and General Motors.
As a result of its military contracts, the company has received US$350 million from the government. Its board of directors includes former Amazon executives as well as Michael Kratsios, the former chief technology officer of the United States under the previous administration.
It was during Wang’s brief time at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s leading universities, that he developed the idea for Scale Al. It was believed Wang that one of his roommates was stealing his food, so he decided to install a camera inside the refrigerator in order to catch him, as well as collect information to help him predict when he would need to go grocery shopping.
As it was impossible to distinguish between the hours of video, Wang was unable to confirm his suspicions, but the experiment planted the seed that developed into Scale AI, which now enables organizations to unlock their stored data’s full potential.
He founded Scale AI that same summer and secured funding from Y Combinator, the technology startup accelerator that launched Dropbox, Twitch, and Airbnb. A few years later, Wang appeared on every list of the world’s wealthiest people under the age of 30.
Wang does not party like his co-founder, but he actively promotes his public image through social media. The young man uses Twitter to share his thoughts on the new Spider-Man movie with his 20,000 followers and maintains a blog where he shares the secrets of his success and offers advice to future entrepreneurs.
A positive attitude is essential for achieving objectives, and the most basic formula for success is to hire employees who care about the company and its goals. This strategy appears to have worked for Wang as Scale Al raised US$325 million in its most recent round of funding and is currently valued at more than US$7 billion.
With a net worth of $1 billion, he became the youngest self-made billionaire in history. At the age of 19, he founded the company Scale AI.
Throughout his school years, Alexandr enjoyed coding and math and participated in a variety of related competitions.
He worked here for a few months before joining Quora the same year. As a part of Quora’s infrastructure team, he was responsible for all initiatives, speed projects, and meeting goals as a Tech and Speed Lead/DRI.
After leaving Quora in 2016, he joined Hudson River Trading as an algorithm developer. After working there for a few months, he left to work on his own business venture.
As a result of this project, he also dropped out of school. In an interview, he discussed what he told his parents when he began working on his business project. As he explained to his parents, it was only going to be something I did for the summer. Obviously, I did not return to school.
He founded Scale AI with Lucy Guo in June 2016, and his company raised $120,000 in seed funding on 22 August 2016. In terms of revenue and customers, the company continues to grow. Scale AI was named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 enterprises in 2018.
On 3rd November 2021, his company acquired a German company named SiaSearch in the Intelligent Data Solutions sector.
By 2022, Alexandr’s company Scale AI will have more than 300 clients, including Flexport and General Motors. As well, it has three contracts worth approximately $110 million to assist the US Air Force and Army with AI employment. During an interview with Forbes, Alexandr discussed Scale AI’s success, saying, “Our aim is to help them maximize the value of their data and supercharge their businesses with artificial intelligence.”
Previously, Alex worked as a software engineer at Addepar and an algorithm developer at Hudson River Trading. A student of Artificial Intelligence, he attended MIT and dropped out.

Life Journey
Simon Kjær Biography tells you about his Childhood, Early Life, Family, Parents, Children (Milas and Viggo), Ex-Wife (Camilla), and current Wife (Elina Gollert). Specifically, Dane’s net worth and personal life.
You will follow the center-back’s life journey, from his early days to when he became famous.
Simon Kjær, the Danish captain who became a hero during Euro 2020, will never be forgotten by the football world. Christian Eriksen’s life was saved by his calm act of administering vital health measures before the doctors arrived.
We present you with his fascinating expeditions that led to his stardom in the 21st century. Let’s begin.
He is known as ‘The Viking’ in Biography. Simon Thorup Kjær was born in Horsens, Denmark, on the 26th day of March 1989, to his Danish father, Jorn Kjær, and his Danish mother, Lotte Kjær. During his father and mother’s union, the defender was the eldest of two children. In the young boy’s opinion, there was no better way to spend childhood days than sitting with his mother.
Having the chance to listen to her exciting fairytales all the time is a wonderful experience for him. As a child, he no doubts made a lot of happy memories with his parents.
Growing up in Horsens, soccer was always the priority for the upcoming defender. While growing up, he enjoyed spending time with his sister (Alberte Kjær). A memorable part of his youthful days was, however, his participation in football.
At the age of four, Kjær had already mastered the art of kicking a ball. Even though he was not the most talented of his peers, he gave his all to the game.
Firstly, his household is not super-wealthy but has fared well as average Danish citizens. Simon Kjær comes from humble middle-class family background. The center-back’s household is driven by a caring father (Jorn Kjær) who works hard to provide for his entire household.
Despite their average financial status, Kjær’s family cherishes each other with affection and closeness.
The defender will never forget the place where his career expedition all began, where his career began. He is a native of Horsens, a city that houses about 59,966 people in Denmark.
Would you like to know?… His place of origin is known for its cultural and entertainment events. There is a New Theatre in Horsens that serves as a cultural center and hosts over 200 events each year.
In the opinion of his father, our boy grew up in an era in which players were judged by their physical appearance rather than by their innate abilities. It was necessary for him to look big to prove he could handle himself on the pitch. Moreover, he needed to be connected to prominent personalities before he could become a full-fledged player, or at least that’s how the system saw it.
Interestingly enough, he did not seem to be bothered by the limitations that threatened his success. His parents enrolled him in a small-time football academy (Lund IF) near Horsens. The defender had outgrown the facilities and technical provisions at Lund IF when he turned 15.
Seeing his career on the line, his father made contact with the professional soccer club – FC Midtjylland – where he worked. Thankfully, the academy accepted Kjær so his dad wouldn’t lose his job. However, they never thought he had any talent for the game.
This young lad worked hard to improve himself instead of getting upset by their disapproval of his abilities. In 2016, Kjær shocked his entire team by winning the best player award at the French youth tournament.
It is notable that he graduated from FC Midtjylland’s academy as one of the first players. Midtjylland eventually had Kjær sign a 5-year contract with the club after rejecting several transfer offers. Consequently, in 2007, the athlete made his senior debut in the Superliga.
Several prominent clubs discussed his departure from his team after his outstanding performance. Kjær ended up signing a 5-year contract with Palermo in 2008 for €4 million. His career with the Italian club suffered a setback due to his difficulty adapting to the competitions in Palermo’s defense.
Even so, he did well in his first two appearances for the club to impress many fans with his abilities. Kjær secured his spot as Palermo’s center-back within such a short period of time.
In addition to Danish, Kjær speaks five languages, including English and Italian (which he learned in Palermo). As a child, he idolized John Terry and Fabio Cannavaro and supported Liverpool. His mother, a teacher, was not supportive of him becoming a footballer.
Kjær was able to earn his diploma despite not enjoying studying in school. Kjær married his long-term girlfriend, Camilla. The two have been together since they were fifteen. They eventually broke up, and Kjær began a relationship with Swedish national, Elina Gollert. Together, they have two children, Milas and Viggo.
They were married in the summer of 2017. Kjær talked about superstitions, saying: “I believe in them, but I don’t practice them. Before every game, I wear the right sock.”

Club Career
FC Midtjylland
Kjær began playing football at the age of four when he was born in Horsens. After this, he joined the small-time club Lund IF near Horsens, before joining the youth team of Danish Superliga club FC Midtjylland in 2004, where his father was team manager.
The player was one of the first to graduate from FCM’s football academy, the first of its kind in Denmark, joining fellow Midtjylland teammates Jesper Weinkouff and Christian Sivebik, as well as former teammate Winston Reid.
Initially, Kjær played the midfield position before one of his coaches switched him to the defender, a position he continues to play to this day.
Kjær, while he was in the club system, won the best player award at a French youth tournament in April 2006. Midtjylland subsequently rejected offers from Lille OSC for Kjær and Jesper Juelsgård.
In June 2006, Kjær made his Midtjylland debut in the Viasat Cup training matches. Two months later, he signed his first professional contract, keeping him until 2009.
The player was promoted to the first-team squad in January 2007. During his trial with Real Madrid in August 2007, FC Midtjylland rejected their transfer offer. In September 2007, Kjær signed a five-year contract with Midtjylland instead.
In the 2–0 victory over AGF on 30 September 2007, Kjær made his Superliga debut. By October 2007, his performances had attracted the attention of both Middlesbrough and Chelsea. In the first half of the Danish Superliga 2007–08 season, he played three more matches.
In the second half of the Superliga season, Kjær formed a defensive partnership with Magnus Troest. Between 29 March 2008 and 13 April 2008, he kept three consecutive clean sheets against OB, Copenhagen, and AaB.
Palermo
Kjr signed a five-year contract with Palermo in February 2008, effective from summer 2008, earning Midtjylland a transfer fee of €4 million. During the club’s press conference on 5 June 2008, he was introduced alongside new signing Andrea Raggi.
The beginning of his Palermo career suffered a setback when Kjær faced competition in the club’s defense, as well as, adapted to life in Italy.
He made his Palermo debut on 26 October 2008, coming on as a halftime substitute against Fiorentina in Serie A. The club praised his performance following the match. He made his first appearance for the club three days later in a 1–1 draw against Lecce.
On 2 November 2008, Kjær scored his first goal for Palermo and set up the club’s first goal, as Palermo won 3–0 against Chievo.
In the first team, he has established himself as a center-back, playing in the starting eleven. He was named the second-best player under 21 in Serie A by La Gazzetta Dello Sport because of his physical strength and tenacity.
His second goal of the season didn’t come until 15 March 2009, in a 5–2 win over Lecce. Kjær then scored his third goal of the season in a 4-1 victory over Bologna on 19 April 2009.
As a result of his performance, he was named to Serie A’s Team of the Week. Kjær finished the 2008–09 season as the club’s top defender in Serie A with three goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
The 2009–10 season saw Kjær confirm his reputation as a first-team regular and form a strong defensive partnership with Cesare Bovo. The Sicilian club responded by offering him an improved contract in September 2009.
In the 2009–10 season, Kjær started every match until he was suspended for one match. When Palermo lost 5–3 to Inter Milan on 29 October 2009, he returned to the starting line-up after serving a suspension.
Kjær scored his first goal of the season a week later, in a 3–1 loss to Bologna on 8 November 2009. After a successful first season at Palermo, he was named Denmark’s 2009 Talent of the Year in November 2009, beating Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner and Ajax’s Christian Eriksen.
Additionally, in January 2010, he was named Danish Footballer of the Year for 2009. Kjær scored Palermo’s second goal against Cagliari the next day, as the match ended 2–1. Upon returning from suspension, he started the next ten league matches before being suspended again.
Having served a one-match suspension, Kjær returned to the starting lineup against Fiorentina on 24 January 2010 and helped the club keep a clean sheet in a 3–0 win.
In a 2–2 draw against Genoa on 24 March 2010, he was sent off for a second bookable offense and started the next nine league matches.
Kjær returned to the starting line-up against Catania on 3 April 2010 following a one-match suspension.
In the 2009–10 season, he started all the remaining matches and helped the team qualify for the UEFA Europa League by finishing fifth. Kjær scored twice in a total of 35 Serie A games (38 appearances, two goals in all competitions) during the 2009–10 season.
VfL Wolfsburg
VfL Wolfsburg confirmed on 30 June 2010 that it had opened talks with Kjær. There were reports of interest from teams across Europe, including Manchester United, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur as well as Italian side Juventus.
Kjær’s signing was confirmed on 8 July 2010, when the club paid an undisclosed fee believed to be over £10 million. Kjær became the most expensive Danish footballer of all time when the deal was completed.
The move from Serie A to the Bundesliga meant that Kjær would become one of the most highly paid Danish footballers with an annual salary of around €3 million.
Morten Olsen and the player, himself, both agreed that the move to Wolfsburg was both financially feasible and a step in the right direction for the young Danish defender’s development.
Kjær made his unofficial debut for VfL Wolfsburg in a pre-season match against FC Augsburg, in which Wolfsburg won 1–0.
He made his VfL Wolfsburg debut on 15 August 2010, starting the entire game in a 2–1 victory against Preußen Münster in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. Five days later, on 20 August 2010, he made his Bundesliga debut for Wolfsburg in a 2–1 loss to Bayern Munich.
Despite a poor start to the season with Wolfsburg, with varying results and unmet expectations, Kjær scored his first goal for Wolfsburg in a 2–0 win over Stuttgart when he headed the ball over the line after a corner kick.
The goal was ultimately credited to Edin D*eko after it was shown that the ball deflected from Džeko’s shot. Kjær started all 17 Bundesliga matches in the autumn 2010 season, despite widespread criticism from the media for his poor performances.
Following a successful partnership with Italy international Andrea Barzagli in Wolfsburg’s central defense, he then played alongside German international Arne Friedrich.
After seven straight drawn games, Kjær scored his first Bundesliga goal with a headed goal in the 83rd minute of a 1–0 win against Mainz 05, securing the first victory in eight matches for the club.
Felix Magath returned to Wolfsburg in February 2011 following the sacking of Steve McClaren due to further poor results (the manager guided the club to their first Bundesliga title) and criticized the ‘poor condition’ of the players he inherited (including Kjær) from McClaren. A public declaration of affection for Steve McClaren was made by Kjær following the dismissal.
Kjær apologized for the firing and said he was happy to work with Steve McClaren. Even after Magath’s comment, Kjær retained his first-team spot for the rest of the 2010-11 season, though it was met with frustration as the club narrowly avoided relegation the previous year and he had come under fire for some lackluster performances.
Despite being sidelined on three occasions during the 2010–11 season, he played 34 games and scored once across all competitions.
Kjær revealed in the summer transfer window of 2011 that Magath told him he was free to leave that summer, and that he had fallen out of favor with Magath. Kjær played four games for Wolfsburg before leaving for Roma amid transfer speculation.
Loan to Roma
Roma confirmed they will sign striker Kjær for €10 million from Wolfsburg as a replacement for Philippe Mexès, who left for AC Milan on a free transfer.
However, the transfer to Roma was put on hold after Wolfsburg recalled the defender, according to reports in Italy.
Kjær was instead loaned to Roma on 30 August 2011, with an option to buy at the end of the season. The 17 September 2011 match at Inter Milan ended in a 0–0 draw for Kjær’s Roma debut. On 16 October 2011, however, he received a straight red card for a foul on Cristian Brocchi in the 50th minute, resulting in a penalty that was converted by the opposition team.
Due to suspension and injury concerns, Kjær missed the next four matches after the match. The club won 2–1 against Leece on 20 November 2011, when he returned to the starting line-up.
His return was short-lived when he sustained an injury that kept him sidelined for a month. When he returned to the starting line-up for Roma’s match against Fiorentina in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia on 11 January 2012, he helped the team keep a clean sheet, in a 3–0 win.
However, in Roma’s 4–2 loss to Cagliari on 1 February 2012, Kjær was at fault for his poor performance and was largely disappointing.
After the game, Roma director Walter Sabatini hinted that the club might decide not to sign Kjær on a permanent basis because of his poor performance. Throughout the rest of the 2011–12 season, he remained in the first team.
Kjær made 24 appearances throughout the 2011–12 season, despite being sidelined twice more. Following this, Roma decided not to sign Kjær permanently due to his poor performances.
Return to Wolfsburg
Kjær did not return to Wolfsburg after his loan spell at Roma ended after coach Magath decided the Dane would not be included in his first-team plans for 2012-13.
A few days later, Magath announced that he had changed his mind and was eager to integrate Kjær into Wolfsburg’s first team.
In Wolfsburg’s opening match of the 2012–13 season against VfB Stuttgart, he came on as a late substitute to win 1–0. Kjær missed the match against Hannover 96 due to a potential transfer to Galatasaray, which eventually fell through, but returned to the starting XI against FC Augsburg on 16 September 2012, drawing 0–0.
Both he and his Danish compatriot Thomas Kahlenberg were praised by Manager Magath after the match. Kjær, however, found himself on the substitute bench in the first three months of the season.
Following Magath’s sacking, he returned to the pitch against Fortuna Düsseldorf on 27 October 2012, helping the club win 4-1.
The following season, Kjær returned to the first team, playing in the center back position under the new management of Lorenz-Günther Köstner and Dieter Hecking. In a 1–1 draw with Hamburger SV on 2 December 2012, he scored his first goal of the season.
On 19 January 2013, Kjær assisted on the club’s second goal of the game in a 2–0 win over Stuttgart. He was dropped from the starting line-up for the next three matches after his performance against Hannover 96 on 26 January 2013.
Kjær made his return to the starting line-up against Mainz 05 on 23 February 2013, in a 1-1 draw. Following the match, he regained his place in the first team for the next seven games. Kjær scored his second goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen on 6 April 2013.
Against Werder Bremen two weeks later, on 20 April 2013, he set up Wolfsburg’s first goal before being substituted in the 54th minute due to an abductor problem.
After the match, Kjær did not play for the club for the rest of the season. In all competitions, he scored two goals in 25 appearances at the end of the 2012–13 season.
Lille LOSC
Lille announced on 5 July 2013 that Kjær had agreed to a four-year contract. In Lille’s 1–0 victory over FC Lorient in the season’s first game, Kjær kept a clean sheet.
He quickly established himself in the club’s starting eleven as a center-back, forming a partnership with Marko Baša.
As a result of Kjær’s contribution, Lille kept two consecutive clean sheets between 25 August 2013 and 31 August 2013 against Saint-Étienne and Rennes. Between 24 September 2013 and 3 December 2013, he helped the club keep ten consecutive clean sheets.
Kjær provided Lille’s lone goal of the game, as they lost 2–1 against Stade de Reims on 12 January 2014. A month later, on 21 January 2014, he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 win over Iris Club de Croix in the second round of the Coupe de France.
During his first season as head of the best defense in the major European leagues in 2013–14, Kjær conceded only 26 goals in 38 matches including an impressive 21 clean sheets.
During the entire season, Kjær frequently appeared on various media teams of the week, ultimately earning a spot on “the Ligue 1 Team of the Season” alongside goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
While he missed three matches during the 2013–14 season, he made 37 appearances and scored once.
Kjær played in both legs of the third UEFA Champions League Qualifying Round against Grasshopper at the start of the 2014–15 season, helping Lille win the game 3–1 on aggregate and advance to the next round.
Kjær then kept three consecutive clean sheets in the first three league matches, scoring his first Ligue 1 goal against Lorient with a deflected free-kick.
After playing in center-back for the majority of the season, he regained his first-team spot. Kjær then scored on his UEFA Europa League debut against FC Krasnodar in a 1-1 draw on 18 September 2014.
He also kept three clean sheets between 7 January 2015 and 14 January 2015, including his second goal of the season as he powered FC Nantes to a 2–0 win in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue.
Kjær suffered a thigh injury against Lorient on 17 January 2015 and was substituted after 33 minutes, resulting in him missing two matches. In a 2–1 victory over Montpellier on 7 February 2015, he returned to the starting line-up.
Kjær regained his first-team position since returning from injury, playing at center-back. He still managed to make 42 appearances and score three goals in all competitions despite being sidelined five times during the 2014-15 season.
As a result of transfer speculation over the summer, it was announced on 16 June 2015 that Kjær had joined Fenerbahçe, signing a four-year contract for €7.65 million.
A 0–0 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Third Round marked Kjær’s Fenerbahçe debut.
In the return leg, however, he was sent-off for his second bookable offense, and their team lost 3–0, eliminating them from the tournament.
Fenerbahçe drew 1-1 with Aykur Rizespor in Kjær’s league debut, as he started the entire game. He suffered an ankle injury while on international duty, which sidelined him for three weeks.
Kjær returned to the starting line-up against Beşiktaş on 27 September 2015, only to score his own goal as the club lost 3–2.
Since he picked up cards in his first seven official matches, his performance was subject to criticism. Despite this, he was able to regain a first-team place, playing at center-back. As time went on, his performances improved.
Kjær scored his first goal for Fenerbahçe in a 2–1 win over Sivasspor on 28 December 2015. Between 20 February and 3 April 2016, he helped the club keep five consecutive clean sheets.
Kjær helped Fenerbahçe keep four consecutive clean sheets between 20 April 2016 and 5 May 2016, including helping the side reach the Turkish Cup final by beating Konyaspor 5–0 on aggregate and scoring his second goal of the season in a 3–0 win over Gaziantepspor.
Afterward, he played in the final against Galatasaray, which they lost 1–0. Kjær made 45 appearances and scored twice throughout the 2015–16 season, despite being sidelined on three more occasions.
Kjær captained AS Monaco in both legs of the UEFA Champions League Third Round Qualifying Round, losing 4–3 on aggregate.
On 28 August 2016, he scored Fenerbahçe’s first goal of the match against Kayserispor but was sent off for a straight red card nine minutes later.
On 15 September 2016, on his return from a one-match suspension, Kjær scored against Zorya Luhansk in the UEFA Europa League.
As he returned from suspension, he continued to regain his place in the first team as a center-back.
On 24 November 2016, Kjær scored against Zorya Luhansk in the UEFA Europa League match, and the club won 2–0. On two separate occasions throughout December, he helped the club keep two consecutive clean sheets.
However, Kjær was plagued with injuries on five occasions later in the season. Despite this, he was still a member of Fenerbahçe’s first team. Kjær played 43 times and scored three goals in all competitions during his second season with the club.
Sevilla
In light of Fenerbahçe’s ban from playing European football next season, Kjær wanted to leave the club. Kjær signed a four-year deal with Sevilla on 2 August 2017 for €12,500,000.
In Sevilla’s opening game of the season, Kjær made his debut, starting the entire match in a 1–1 draw against RCD Espanyol. He was sidelined by injury twice in September.
Kjær scored his first goal for the club in a 5–1 loss to Spartak Moscow on 17 October 2017. He was a regular in the first team for the next two months, playing at center-back.
Kjær injured his left abductor muscle while training and missed three matches as a consequence. He returned to the starting lineup against Maribor on 6 December 2017 to help the club earn a 1-1 draw.
In the first leg of the Copa Del Rey Round of 16, Kjær contributed to the club’s second goal in a 2–1 victory.
He scored his first league goal for Sevilla on 6 January 2018, in a 5–3 loss against rivals, Real Betis.
Kjær, however, sustained a back injury that forced him to miss a month. When he returned to the starting lineup against Málaga on 28 February, he helped the team keep a clean sheet.
Since returning from injury, Kjær started five consecutive matches for Sevilla and was instrumental in helping the club beat Manchester United in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
During a 4–0 loss against Celta Vigo on 7 April 2018, Kjær injured his knee and was replaced in the 40th minute.
As a result, Sevilla qualified to play European football next season thanks to his second league goal of the season in a 2–2 draw against Real Betis on 12 May 2018.
At the end of the 2017–18 season, Kjær made 27 appearances and scored three goals. During the beginning of the 2018-19 season, KJr started every minute in the Supercopa de Espaa against Barcelona. Sevilla lost 2–1.
After returning to the first team, he played in the center-back position for the club. Kjær had been playing well until a match against SD Huesca on 28 October 2018. He suffered a hamstring injury in the 24th minute and was substituted as Sevilla won 2–1. A month later, it was announced that he would be sidelined.
Kjær started against Real Valladolid on 25 November 2018 and kept a clean sheet in the 1–0 victory. As the season progressed, he was found in and out of the starting line-up due to injuries.
In spite of this, Kjær made 37 appearances across all competitions. As a result, he was expected to leave Sevilla prior to the 2019–20 season.
Loan to Atalanta
Kjær started the whole game for Atalanta in their 2–0 win against Roma on 24 September. In October he made four more appearances for Atalanta. Nevertheless, like Martin Škrtel (his former teammate at Fenerbahçe who signed and terminated his contract with Atalanta within August 2019), he failed to convince the team’s head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Because of this, the club terminated the loan deal six months before its expiration.
AC Milan
Kjær signed for AC Milan on loan until the end of the 2019–20 season, with the option to make the move permanent for an undisclosed fee.
He had been linked with the club in the late 2000s and early 2010s during his time with Palermo and even praised in the media by then-current Milan’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti yet the move eventually broke down as two clubs failed to agree on his transfer fee.
Kjær made his debut for the club in the Coppa Italia round of 16 on 15 January 2020, playing 82 minutes against S.P.A.L. at home. A dramatic 3–2 victory against Udinese marked his debut in Serie A as a Milan player four days later.
Kjær missed one match due to illness, but returned to the line-up on 9 February 2020, playing in the center-back position, losing 4–2 to rivals Inter Milan. In a 1–0 win against Torino on 17 February 2020, he tore his muscle and was substituted in the 44th minute due to the injury.
It was announced after the match that Kjær would be out of action for a few months. After the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the suspension of League matches, he recovered from his injury and returned to the starting line-up in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals against Juventus; the club drew 0–0, preventing Milan from winning the tournament.
During his first season under head coach Stefano Pioli, Kjær competed with other central defenders, namely Mateo Musacchio, Léo Duarte, and Matteo Gabbia, for a starting position in the team’s back four alongside left central defender Alessio Romagnoli.
In total, he made 11 appearances for Milan (9 in Serie A and 4 in Coppa Italia) before the club bought him out from Sevilla for €3.5 million on 15 July 2020, the date of the buy-out clause in his loan contract.
Kjær signed a contract with Milan until 30 June 2022 on 15 July 2020. Kjær’s first goal for the Rossoneri came in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 tie against Manchester United on 11 March 2021.
He extended his contract with Milan until 2024 on 27 October 2021.
Kjær suffered a left knee injury during stoppage time in a match at Genoa on 1 December 2021. After surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament, he was sidelined for six months.
International Career
Kjær made his only appearance for Denmark U18 on 19 September 2006, in a 4–1 win over Slovakia U18. As a 17-year-old he made his debut for the Danish national under-19 football team on 6 September 2006, beating Portugal U19 3–2.
Since October 2007, he has played 10 games and scored one goal for the under-19s, and he was named 2007 Danish under-19 talent of the year for his ability to play as a defender despite his young age.
Kjær was rested from the under-19s in March 2008 after he made his breakthrough with Midtjylland.
Kjær was called up to the Denmark national under-21 football team as a replacement for Michael Jakobsen in May 2008, making his debut in a 0–4 defeat against Germany under-21s.
During his first spell with Palermo, he wasn’t part of the under-21 team, but he was recalled in October 2008, spending the game as a substitute to Magnus Troest and Mathias Jørgensen.
Kjær did not play in the friendly against Greece but returned to the under-21s for a single match in March 2009, where he played well enough that under-21 coach Keld Bordinggaard recommended his recall to Olsen’s squad. He made two appearances for the U21 side.
Kjær played for Denmark U20 only once, against France U20 on 19 November 2008.
Kjær was called up to the senior Danish national team in February 2009, after Morten Olsen was impressed by his form for Palermo, and saw him and Per Krldrup as the main contenders to replace the retired defender Martin Laursen.
As a result, Kjær was again named to the senior squad for the match against Sweden on 6 June 2009, after Per Kroldrup became injured.
Although he had an injury of his own, he played the entire game as Denmark won 1–0. After establishing himself in the Danish starting line-up, Kjr played in the next three qualification games and helped Denmark qualify for the 2010 World Cup despite the injury.
Kjær told reporters that several small fouls and a hard tackle would be enough to stop Cristiano Ronaldo in the September 2009 qualification match against Portugal.
The Portuguese Football Federation submitted a complaint to FIFA requesting Kjær’s suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct, but the case was dropped after mediation by the Danish Football Association.
Denmark coach Morten Olsen announced on 28 May 2010 that the player would be part of the 23-man squad attending the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Despite starting in Denmark’s first two games, against the Netherlands and Cameroon, Kjær received a yellow card in both matches and therefore missed the crucial game against Japan.
However, in the match against Cameroon, Kjær was highly commended for his excellent long-range passing that led to Nicklas Bendtner’s first goal.
Samuel Eto’o’s performance in the World Cup was nevertheless praised by the media and the player himself. His participation in the tournament has benefited him greatly, he claims.
As a result of their 2–1 win against Portugal on 11 October 2011, the player regained his place in the national team and helped them qualify for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament.
During Euro 2012, he was named to the final squad for the tournament. As they were eliminated from the group stage, Kjær started in each of the three games against the Netherlands, Portugal, and Germany.
During the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament, Kjær appeared four more times by the end of the year. As part of Denmark’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification game against the Czech Republic, he scored Denmark’s first goal on 22 March 2013.
After finishing second in the qualification, however, Kjær sat out the rest of the matches, as his country did not qualify for the World Cup.
In the aftermath of Denmark’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, Kjær was reinstated to the national team. He scored his second goal for Denmark against Serbia in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualification match on 14 November 2014.
From 13 June 2015 to 7 September 2015, Kjær helped the national team keep three consecutive clean sheets against Serbia, Albania, and Armenia.
The Danish national team failed to qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 following a 4–3 aggregate defeat to Sweden in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying play-offs. Kjær played in both legs of the play-offs, but did not help Denmark qualify.
On 3 June 2016, following Denmark’s unsuccessful qualification for the UEFA Euro 2016, Kjær captained the country for the first time in his career against Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a penalty shootout after playing 120 minutes in a 2–2 draw.
In the wake of Daniel Agger’s retirement, he was named captain of the national team.
Kjær helped the national side keep three consecutive clean sheets against Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, and Armenia from 7 June 2016 to 4 September 2016.
Then, he helped Denmark finish second in Group E of the FIFA World Cup qualification. Against the Republic of Ireland, Kjr participated in both legs of the World Cup play-offs for a place in the World Cup, winning 5–1 on aggregate and qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
He helped the national side keep four consecutive clean sheets in friendlies against Panama, Chile, Sweden, and Mexico between 22 March 2018 and 9 June 2018.
Denmark’s 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia was named in May 2018. At the World Cup, he served as Denmark’s captain.
In his first World Cup match, Kjær captained Norway to a 1–0 victory over Peru on 16 June 2018. Withdraws against Australia and France, he helped his country reach the knockout stage.
Having advanced from their group, Denmark was paired with Croatia in the Round of 16. They were defeated in a penalty shoot-out, with Kjr successfully converting one of his spot-kicks.
In the months following the World Cup, Kjær led the national team in three more matches, helping them keep three consecutive clean sheets against Wales, the Republic of Ireland, and Austria.
After setting up two goals for Denmark in a 5–1 win over Georgia on 10 June 2019, he played an important role in the victory.
Afterward, they kept four clean sheets in a row against Gibraltar, Georgia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar.
Denmark qualified for UEFA Euro 2020 thanks to Kjær’s captaincy against the Republic of Ireland on 18 November 2019. Kjær played his 100th match for Denmark against England in a 1–0 win away from home on 14 October 2020.
During the UEFA Euro 2020, he captained the team. After Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch while playing against Finland on 12 June 2021, Kjær was the first to help him and summon the medical team to the pitch.
While Eriksen was unconscious, he also ensured that his airways were unobstructed. In the aftermath, he helped his teammates cover Eriksen while he received medical treatment and consoled Eriksen’s wife Sabrina afterward.
The match was suspended after Eriksen was taken off the pitch on a stretcher. UEFA and Danish Football Association officials confirmed from the Rigshospitalet about an hour after the incident that Eriksen had been stabilized and was awake.
A resumption of the match later in the evening ended with a 1–0 victory for Finland. Despite the opening loss, Denmark went on to reach the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2020, losing in extra time to England.
UEFA President’s Award was presented to Kjær and the medical team that stabilized Eriksen at the Finland game on 27 August 2021.
Horsens, Denmark, is the birthplace of Simon Kjær. In fact, Simon Kjær was born in Denmark.
The first youth football academy in Scandinavia was established in 2004 by FC Midtjylland in Denmark. New clubs did not pick the litter of Danish football talent, which went to bigger, more established clubs; and when the coaches formed their first team, they were short one player.
Rasmus Ankerson identified Simon Kjær, who has been playing football since the age of four. “We selected the boy more to ensure that his father would not quit his job than to see if he had a future in the game,” explains Rasmus Ankerson.
In the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Rasmus Ankerson, the boy selected as an unwanted player, started as Denmark’s center back against the Netherlands. He has appeared 30 times for Denmark since 2004 and has played for many teams in Italy, Germany, France, and Spain. Not bad for a 15-year-old nobody wanted.
Five years later, shortly after Kjær was sold to Palermo for a tidy transfer fee of €4m, those results were made public. Not even one of the highly qualified, UEFA “A” licensed coaches had Kjær on their list.
Elina Gollert is married to Simon Kjær. Elina Gollert is the wife of Simon Kjær. The Danish WAG Elina Gollert is well-known around the world.
At his 31st appearance for Denmark, he also scored his first goal, and in June 2016, he acquired the captain’s armband from Agger. A confident center-back with excellent skills in aerial duels, Kjær is a reliable performer.
He is an Evangelical Lutheran, as are most Danish people. Denmark’s official religion is Evangelical Lutheran, as stated in the Danish Constitution. Nearly 85% of the Danish population is Evangelical Lutheran, 3% is Roman Catholic, and approximately 5% is Muslim.
Simon Kjær’s transfer statistics are pretty impressive. Based on Simon Kjær’s career stats, he has played 461 games and scored 21 goals and 9 assists.
After growing up in the FC Midtjylland academy, Simon Kjær joined Palermo for a fee of €4 million. In 57 games, he scored 3 goals after leaving Liverpool for Wolfsburg (€12.50m). Having played for Wolfsburg for a great deal of time, he returned to Serie A by joining AS Roma on a season-long loan. Afterward, Kjær joined Lille for €2.50m.
Fenerbahce (€7m) was his next destination. After impressing in Turkey, he transferred to Sevilla for €12.50m. Following his stint at Sevilla, Kjær joined Atalanta on loan, followed by AC Milan. Simon Kjær was signed permanently by AC Milan for €2.5m after Milan chose to exercise his release clause. AC Milan is Simon Kjær’s current club.

Life Journey
Aurelien Tchouameni Biography gives you details about his Childhood, Early Life, Parents (Mr. and Mrs. Fernand), Family, Siblings, and Wife to be. In particular, the French Footballer’s Lifestyle, Personal Life, and Net Worth – 2021 stats.
Basically, it tells the story of Tchouameni, a boy trying to learn from the mistake made by his father, who was a failed footballer. We will tell you his story – from his boyhood days in Rouen to his eventual success in the beautiful game.
We’ve made the necessary effort to reveal to you the early life and success of Aurelien Tchouameni’s Biography in order to whet your appetite for the captivating nature of his life story.
Everyone knows that Aurelien is mentally strong, knows how to read a game, and has excellent technique. Upon seeing him for the first time, you may have asked, Is this Paul Pogba’s brother?
Only a few football fans appear to have read the concise biography of Aurelien Tchouameni, despite his amazing style of play and praises. Woodgram has made it for you and without further ado, let’s get started.
For starters, he is known by the nickname “Air”. Aurelien Djani Tchouameni was born on January 27, 2000, to Fernand Tchouameni and a little-known mother in the northern French city of Rouen.
As the first child of his family, Midfield Superstar was born into this world. Aurelien is the eldest of three children born to his parents (a brother and a sister).
Throughout most of Tchouameni’s childhood, he spent most of his time with his father on the football field. In his childhood, he watched his father work so hard to earn a professional football contract. In fact, he often called his son – his very first fan – because the boy always followed him to the field whenever he played.
Unfortunately, Aurelien Tchouameni watched his father fail to accomplish his goal of becoming a professional. The disappointment he felt after having failed to achieve his dream of becoming a professional footballer was very hard for Fernand. Because of that, he made the promise that he would once again fulfill his dreams through his beloved son.
The French football star comes from comfortable middle-class family background. Aurelien Tchouamen’s father, after failing in his attempt at a career in football, went on to work for a vaccine manufacturing company. He is in essence a pharmacist who has gone to school to become a pharmacist.
The father of Aurelien Tchouameni was born in a pharmacy and rose to the position of director in a French vaccine production facility. While his mother is a senior education advisor, he was born into a family of pharmacists. Despite being middle-class French citizens, both parents lived and prospered comfortably together.
In terms of nationality, he is a French citizen whose home city is Rouen (in northern France). On the other hand, with regard to Aurelien Tchouameni’s origin, he could be described as Franco-Cameroonian just like his close friend Karl Toko Ekambi. This is due to the fact the French footballer is of Cameroonian descent.
After the right time had come, the 6-year-old midfielder (age 6) enrolled in a Roulen-based French elementary school, one that would suit the tastes of a player of his caliber. In an interview, Aurelien once stated that he was not disruptive to the school environment, but rather, he was inclined to talk a lot – at school. According to him;
In my opinion, I would not say that I was disruptive (smile), but rather talkative, very, very talkative. When I was younger, then, I really loved talking to my classmates too much. Afterward, over time, I did manage to gain some maturity with that. But frankly, I was a serious talker. The teachers would get tired of me talking and say; “Oh Aurelien, shut up, shut up!””
After he had been accused of talking too much in class, the boy decided that he would transfer and do that talking on the pitch. It is therefore not surprising that Aurelien Tchouameni began playing football at a very young age, with his local academy – 53 Artigues – in his neighborhood.
As a result of his passion for football, Aurelien became the driving force of his team very quickly. The boy knew the older he got, the more he realized that he could make a difference for his family by playing football. Aurelien believed, most importantly, that he would help his father to be able to live the life he had always dreamed about.
It was only a matter of time before the fantastic kid on the block grew up to be a wide midfielder known for his work ethic. As well as the penchant for unpredictability, creativity, and close control at high speeds.
It is true that the playing style of Aurelien Tchouameni (while he was at S) Artigues) can be described as combining the elegance of a Rolls-Royce with the power of a Mustang.
The scouts at Bordelais took note of him, as they viewed the youngster’s drive and determination as his most valuable assets. At the age of 11, Aurelien Tchouameni was invited to come to Bordeaux to have a trial, which he passed with flying colors.
After enrolling with Bordeaux, he finally left the Artiguaise football neighborhood – where he started playing football and spent most of his childhood. Aurelien Tchouameni, as you might expect, didn’t have a great start to his new life in his new surroundings, contrary to your expectations.
In an interview, he stated that he had bad memories of his early days of training with Bordeaux. Aurelien was just 14 years old when he was injured twice – he had really terrible injuries. In the following years for him and his teammates, a number of painful defeats during important tournaments followed.
The research (following an investigation) revealed that the boy suffered from all of the above – partly due to being homesick. The family of Aurelien Tchouameni had just moved to Lyon when Aurelien Tchouameni joined Bordeaux. When he joined Bordeaux, he felt alone for the first time in his life.
For Aurelien Tchouameni to be able to regain his confidence, all he needed to do was convert his position from that of a striker to a midfielder. Luckily, he still managed to score goals at the end of the game. It was with great joy that Aurelien graduated from the academy football program in the year 2018 – to the delight of his family.
As a senior player, the Rising Star bonded well with Jules Kounde, Zaydou Youssouf, and Yacine Adli, the three best players that helped shape the Scapular club over time.
It is without any doubt that these future football stars once had the best of friends – both off and on the pitch – during their time at Bordeaux. In his first season for Bordeaux B, the combative midfielder made a strong impression with three goals, which earned him a warm reception from the Girondin’s fans, who wished to see Aurelien Tchouameni acquire a regular place in the first team.
Finally, the youngster had the opportunity to make his first-team debut for Bordeaux in a 1-0 victory away to Latvian side FK Ventspils in the UEFA Europa League. Aurelien Tchouameni scored his first goal for the club less than a month later – against Mariupol in another Europa League away victory for the club.
The Boy’s qualities as a midfield recuperator have become evident since he scored his first senior career goal. Tchouameni rose through the leagues to become one of the best tacklers and aerial duelers in Ligue 1. As a result of this feat, he was recruited by a much bigger club – AS Monaco.
Aurelien Tchouameni has endured a meteoric rise to prominence at Monaco and has become one of the hottest young properties in both French Football and the Ligue 1. In such a case, a rise of this magnitude – as shown in this video – can only be compared to the rises of Corentin Tolisso and Tangy Ndombele – in their Lyon days.
Having displayed consistent performances with Monaco, Aurelien Tchouameni – on the 26th of August 2021, was called up for the first time to the France senior squad. During the same year 2021, French Rising Stars – Moussa Diaby Theo Hernandez, and Matteo Guendouzi also earned their call-ups to the French national team.
On the day of his debut, when he replaced Thomas Lernar in the starting lineup, many French fans knew that a new hero had arrived for France. The very best performance from Aurelien Tchouameni’s Rise came in the UEFA Nations League finals against Spain in 2021. A Pogba Tchouameni midfield partnership helped France seal a clean comeback after Mikel Oyarzabal’s 64th-minute goal brought the match to a close.
After helping France win the UEFA nations league, Aurelien Tchouameni was able to announce his name to the world of football after he helped make France the winners of the championship. There was no better moment of that day than the way he celebrated the trophy with Paul Pogba.
Without any doubt, the world is on the verge of seeing the emergence of a new version of Pogba, one who grows into a world-class talent. Aurelien Tchouameni is one of the most promising French midfielders of his generation and he is rising through the Monaco ranks to become one of the most respected players in France.
As Woodgram puts it, the rest of Air Djani’s biography will forever be in the history books.

Additionally, he said;
“I discovered that he had been poor between September and October, and he was satisfied with the minimum. So I invited him to spend time with me during the holiday season. I told him that I couldn’t recognize him during those months, and he told me ‘dad, you’ll see’.”
Fernando is not the only one who has seen his son’s transformation into the world’s best player, now rubbing shoulders with superstars like Paul Pogba. Aurelien Tchouameni’s mother has also seen it – as she has been there from the start of his development.
As with her husband, Aurelien’s mother is always concerned about her son’s health. In contrast to Ferland, she seems to be fine whether her boy plays well or not – as long as he is fine. Aurelien told French Football this in an interview;
After matchdays, I debrief with my dad, and when my mom calls, it’s always to see how km is doing. She’s playing the motherly role. These days, she’s trying to get interested in football, and frankly, she’s making progress (smile).”
According to all indications, the French footballer’s brother is likely to follow in their footsteps and become a professional footballer. Aurelien and his little brother appear very close, and it’s obvious that he teaches him a lot about life values.
Due to his Franco-Cameroonian heritage, it is inevitable that he would have cousins, uncles, and aunts in his native country of Cameroon, in West Africa. People who lead his support network in the African country are these people.
After completing this life journey, the final section will reveal more truths about the midfielder who is built differently. Let’s begin.
Aurelien received death threats following alleged racist abuse from Sparta Prague fans, according to media reports. Monaco beat Sparta Prague 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League qualifiers in 2021.
Tchouameni said this after suffering from racism. According to him,
“Hateful messages will not affect him personally. I won’t let hate win this game.”
By comparison, he is very similar to Pogba. Aurelien Tchouameni also shares the same attribute as Frank Kessle and Rodri. Tchouameni has a lot of them. His first nicknames are “Aura” and “Aurel”. People started calling him “Pogba” and “La Pioche” as he became a professional.
Fans started calling him TchouaNgolo back then because he won a lot of balls in matches. He was compared to NGolo Kante during this period.
The midfielder has left no trace of his faith or belief behind. However, our odds strongly indicate that he is a Christian. Aurelien does not openly display his divinity. His family joins the over 38 million Christians in France.

In those days, it began to look more and more like a realistic possibility to dream of pursuing a career in professional football.

I am very excited about meeting the staff and my new teammates. “I will do everything in my power to get my bearings as quickly as possible and help the team meet its goals.”
AS Monaco vice-president and director general Oleg Petrov explained that the club kept tabs on the midfielder’s progress at Bordeaux for some time before signing him.
