Pooja Hegde is a well-known Indian actress and model. She mainly appears in Telugu and Hindi Films. A previous beauty exhibition contestant, Pooja was the 2nd runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 contest, before going on to perform her acting debut in Mysskin’s Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi in 2012.

Pooja Hegde’s next movie release, the Telugu film Oka Laila Kosam in 2014, starred her opposite Naga Chaitanya. She was praised for her performance in the movie. At the same time, she caught the nomination for Best Actress at the 62nd South Filmfare Awards.
In the year 2014, Hegde accepted on terms to make her Bollywood debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period film Mohenjo Daro, set against the backdrop of the Indus Valley civilization. Mohenjo Daro released in 2016 which was panned by critics and became a major box office flop. In 2017, she appeared in the Telugu-language vigilante action comedy film Duvvada Jagannadham alongside actor Allu Arjun.
