Life Journey
Woodgram showcases ‘The Beast’, a football genius who is known by his nickname. A full account of notable events from Christian Benteke’s childhood to the present is presented in his Childhood Story and Biography Facts.
The analysis of the Belgian Goal Poacher discusses his life before fame, his relationship life, his family life, and other OFF-Pitch little-known facts about him. Almost everyone knows about his abilities, but few consider Benteke’s biography, which is quite interesting. Without further ado, let’s begin.
Christian Benteke Lido was born in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on December 15, 1990. He was born to his mother, Marie-Claire Benteke, and his father, Jean-Pierre Benteke. Benteke was raised in a military family. Jean-Pierre, his father, was an army officer who resigned from Zaire, which is now the Democratic Republic of Congo, in 1993.
The country was then ruled by the dictator Mobutu Sese Seko and his son, Kongulu Mobutu. After deserting the army, Lean-Pierre Benteke fled with his family to Congo’s former colonial power Belgium because he feared being killed.
As Mobutu Sese Seko had already ordered his arrest, he had no choice but to seek asylum. He moved with his uncle to Liege, Belgium. Little Christian was only three years old.
Let’s move on to Benteke’s relationship. The Early Career Story of Benteke will continue later in this piece. Christian Benteke never sought a soul mate. Instead, he found the missing piece of himself. Her name is Fortune. Benteke has been dating this lady of enamored beauty since he was a teenager.
Recently, he tied the knot with a longtime partner in a private ceremony. Brenteke referred to his wedding as a ceremony between ‘beauty and the beast’.
Christian Benteke and Fortune both had sons before they got married. Christian’s cute son played an important role in his parents’ wedding.
Upon looking at the chap, you can see Benteke’s softness all over his face. He was born under the sign of Sagittarius. According to his zodiac personality, he has the following characteristics.
The Premier League got its first taste of the ‘dab’ dance craze thanks to Jesse Lingard. He’s certainly not the first football star to celebrate with the dance move, which sometimes begins with a handshake. In conjunction with his close friend, Mamadou Sakho, Christian Benteke has already popularized the handshake and dab.
Jean-Pierre Benteke may have left his army post prematurely, but the same discipline he would have inflicted upon his soldiers he has inflicted upon his three children. Christian Benteke appreciates his hardness and sought his advice when he fell out with Klopp.
Benteke told ‘The Independent’ that his father is a very hard man.
My father tells me that a football player’s career is short so I had better make the most of it. My mother is much softer. She speaks from the heart. My dad tells me the truth. If I’m rubbish in a game, he lets me know.
Benteke’s father, Jean-Pierre Benteke, works with his son’s agent, Eris Kismet, who negotiates with clubs and others on his behalf. Benteke’s younger brother Jonathan is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Zulte Waregem in Belgium. Born on the 28th of April 1995, Jonathan Benteke Lifeka is twenty-nine years old.
In the 2016/2017 season, he joined Crystal Palace before moving to Omonia in Cyprus. Beneke’s sister, Sara, is also a football player. Christian Benteke was once forced to apologize after claiming he had joined Burnley in his Twitter bio.
“I started playing in the street with my friends in the evening because it was more fun,” he told The Independent. Axel Witsel is also from Liege, and we started playing together. We played in the street together. All three players began playing in the streets: (Kompany, Mouse) Dembele, and (Kevin) Mirallas”.
Beneke began his youth career with IS Pierreuse and later Standard Liege before moving to Genk. Aston Villa, under Paul Lambert, gave Benteke his first taste of English football. When he saw the club was not going in the right direction, he jumped at the opportunity to court Liverpool. Following this move, he joined Crystal Palace. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Thierry Henry, the Arsenal legend, was named as the footballer he most respects. Bennette loves basketball and admits he is a Cleveland Cavaliers fan because of superstar LeBron James.

The following season, he spent a season on loan at KV Mechelen as part of the transfer of Aloys Nong from Mechelen to Standard Liège.
With only seven goals in 25 appearances, Beneke’s time at Mechelen was less successful.
In August 2011, he returned to Genk from Standard for an undisclosed fee and went on to score 16 goals and register nine assists in 20 starts during the 2011–12 campaign.
In August 2012, Benteke was the subject of a €6m offer from Premier League club Aston Villa after scoring three goals in five league matches.

Paul Lambert called Benteke “unplayable” on his debut after praising his performance. After that, he scored Villa’s only goal in a 1-1 draw with Norwich City at home.
During a 3–2 victory over Swindon Town in the League Cup, he scored two more goals.

On 15 December, Benteke scored two goals in Villa’s 3–1 win against Liverpool at Anfield, adding to his impressive start in Premier League football.
In addition to scoring two goals, he assisted Villa’s second goal with a back-heel to Andreas Weimann. Tottenham Hotspur manager André Villas-Boas was reportedly interested in signing Benteke around Christmas time, referring to him as the season’s “surprise package”.

In a 2–1 loss to Chelsea on 11 May, Benteke scored Villa’s only goal, but in the second half, he was sent off for a high boot on John Terry, meaning he missed the final game of the season.
Benteke’s 23 goals in 2012–13 led to speculation about his future, and he submitted a transfer request in early July. Villa had said he could leave only if Villa’s valuation was met, but a fortnight later he withdrew his transfer request after talks with Paul Lambert and signed a four-year deal with the club.
In his second pre-season appearance, he scored a hat-trick against Crewe Alexandra. The preseason ended with seven goals in five appearances, including two goals against Málaga at Villa Park.

In the end, it was determined that he would miss six weeks due to an injury to his hip flexor. He made his comeback earlier than expected, after coming on as a substitute in a 2–0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur a month later.
Benteke’s lack of form and injuries prevented him from scoring for 12 games (his last goal came against Newcastle in September 2014), but he finally ended his drought against Arsenal in a 1–2 defeat on 13 January 2014.
Following this, he scored in back-to-back games against Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion, resulting in a 2–2 draw and 4–3 win, respectively.
On 2 March, after failing to score throughout February, the Belgian netted a superb overhead volley as well as a header, leading to a 4–1 home win over Norwich City.
Benteke ruptured his Achilles tendon while training on 3 April 2014 and was sidelined for at least six months, missing the rest of the season and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Referee Neil Swarbrick gave Benteke a straight red card on 2 November 2014 for pushing Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Mason after Mason stuck his face in Benteke’s chest.
Villa was winning at the time but ended up losing 2–1. As a result of the incident, both clubs were fined £20,000 by The FA for failing to control their players.

In the 1–0 victory over Stoke City on 9 August, Benteke made his competitive debut.
He scored his first league goal for Liverpool eight days later in a 1–0 win over newly-promoted Bournemouth. He scored an overhead kick in a 3–1 loss to Manchester United on 12 September.
Having missed several matches due to injury, Benteke returned to score in consecutive games as a substitute on 25 and 31 October: a 1–1 draw against Southampton and a 3–1 away win against Chelsea.
Divock Origi was replaced by him in the first half of a home match against Leicester City on 26 December. He scored the only goal to end the visitors’ unbeaten run of nine games.

The 23 April 2017 game was Beneke’s return to Anfield, the ground of his former club Liverpool, where he scored two goals in a 2–1 victory.
With 15 league goals and 17 goals in total, he finished his first season with Palace as their top scorer.
Benteke had a less successful second season, scoring just three league goals in 30 appearances and not scoring until December.
As a result of an injury-affected 2018–19 season, Benteke scored just once in 19 appearances across all competitions and did not score by October of the 2019–20 campaign.
Despite this lack of form, he signed a contract extension in April, keeping him at Crystal Palace until the end of the 2020–21 season.
Benteke scored a goal twice as Palace came from behind to win 3–2 against Aston Villa on 16 May 2021.

Despite the public’s excitement in her birth, Elizabeth was not anticipated to become queen because Edward was still youthful so likely he would marry and have children, who would take their place in the line to the throne ahead of her.
She emerged second in line of succession after her father when her grandpa died in 1936 and her uncle ascended as Edward VIII. Eventually, Edward abdicated when a constitutional crisis erupted over his anticipated marriage to widowed Wallis Simpson.
As a result, Queen Elizabeth II’s father was crowned king and given the regnal name George VI. Elizabeth became heir presumptive because she had no brothers. If her father had a later son, he might have been the chosen successor and would have been ahead of her in the line for the throne, which was established at the time by male hereditary rule.
When World War II broke out in 1939, Elizabeth and her sister were transferred to Windsor Castle and mostly kept out of London. She went on to make the first of her iconic radio broadcasts in 1940, this one comforting British youngsters who had been evacuated from their homes and family. Elizabeth quickly began to take on additional public responsibilities.
Elizabeth had her first public appearance checking the troops in 1942 when her father designated her commanding officer of the Grenadier Guards. Elizabeth enlisted in the Auxiliary Territorial Service in 1945 to aid in the military effort. She studied to be an excellent driver and technician with other British ladies. However, her volunteer effort was just for a few months.
Elizabeth met and fell in love, Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark. On November 20, 1947, Elizabeth and Philip got married in Westminster Abbey. On November 14, 1948, Elizabeth delivered her first child, Prince Charles. In 1950, her second, Princess Anne, was born.
As George VI’s health condition worsened in 1951, Elizabeth regularly filled in for him at public engagements. Elizabeth and Philip embarked on a trip to New Zealand And Australia through Kenya in early 1952. They had barely returned to their Kenyan home on February 6, 1952, when word broke of the King’s death and, as a result, Elizabeth’s instant succession to the throne.
The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place on June 2, 1953. The ritual at Westminster Abbey was aired for the first time, with the exception of the communion and anointing. At Elizabeth’s request, the floral symbols of Commonwealth nations were embroidered on her coronation robe. Elizabeth ruled for decades and on 9th September 2015, she became the longest-reigning monarch in history surpassing Queen Victoria.

Queen Elizabeth is not even close to becoming the world’s wealthiest lady, contrary to common perception. She isn’t even a billionaire in the traditional sense. Elizabeth’s assets are divided into two categories, her personal assets, and assets held by an organization known as the Crown Estate.
Balmoral Castle in Scotland and the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England are owned by Queen Elizabeth directly. These are the properties she acquired from her father. She has a hefty stock portfolio, a number of works of art as well as a stamp collection.
The Crown Estate is a real estate holding company that is not controlled by Queen Elizabeth II or the government. If Queen Elizabeth were to directly possess the Crown Estate but she does benefit from its earnings.
The Crown Estate generates about $18 million in revenue for Elizabeth each year. The Duchy of Lancaster, a real estate portfolio, generates $27 million in annual revenue. Elizabeth uses a company called the Sovereign Grant to collect 25% of the Crown Estate’s profits to pay for her and her family’s needs.
Reign
The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place on June 2, 1953. Elizabeth’s coronation, held at Westminster Abbey, was the first to be shown live on television. The event was seen by 27 million people in the United Kingdom, out of an overall population of 36 million, and 11 million more heard on the radio. Following that, 3 million people queued the path as the Queen and her staff returned to Buckingham Palace in a lengthy procession.
In 1970, when on a royal visit of Australia and New Zealand with Philip and Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth defied centuries of royal custom by taking a leisurely stroll to meet throngs of people in person rather than waving from a safe distance. Since then, the British royals have gone on walkabouts both overseas and at home.
Elizabeth and Philip took the Gold State Coach through Buckingham Palace to St. Paul’s Cathedral on June 7 to celebrate her Silver Jubilee as Queen marking her 25 years on the throne. The queen, dressed in a bright pink gown with a headdress adorned with 25 fabric bells, reaffirmed her long-ago promise to devote her life to service.
On July 29, 1981, an estimated 750 million people in 74 countries saw the live broadcast to see Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son, getting married to Lady Diana Spencer in St. Paul’s Cathedral. The successor to the British throne and the youthful couple had sparked widespread media interest, and their extravagant wedding was termed the wedding of the century.
During then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s administration decided in late 1984 to surrender Hong Kong’s sovereignty to China on July 1, 1997. Elizabeth became the first British queen to tour the Chinese territory in 1986, seeing Xi’an’s terracotta army, Beijing’s Great Wall, and other attractions.
Charles and Diana’s marriage deteriorated further, and they declared their separation in 1992. Queen Elizabeth II’s younger son, Prince Andrew, and his wife, Sarah Ferguson, split, while Anne separated from her husband, Mark Phillips. That year a massive fire broke out in Windsor Castle, damaging almost 100 rooms. Queen Elizabeth said in a speech marking the 40th anniversary of her accession that the year 1992 “has proved to be aAnnus Horribilis, which means a dreadful year in Latin.
After Diana’s death in a car accident in Paris in the summer of 1997, public criticism of the royal family increased. Initially, the queen denied allowing the flag to be flown over Buckingham Palace or even to address the country in mourning. She soon gave a rare broadcast speech to a country saddened by the loss of Princess Diana, People’s Princess, at the request of her advisers.
Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee celebrations were tarnished in 2002 by the deaths of her younger sister and their mother. Elizabeth traveled almost 40,000 miles during her Golden Jubilee year as the second British queen to do so, including excursions to the Caribbean, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. She also travelled across the United Kingdom, seeing 70 towns and cities in 50 regions.
In July 2013, the queen received Prince George, the first child of her son Prince William, as a new great-grandson. George is generally anticipated to become king one day, as he is third in line for the throne after his grandfather and father. This marked the first period since Queen Victoria’s rule that three generations of direct successors to the British monarchy were living around the same time.
In 2018 when Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, a divorced biracial American actress, Elizabeth’s reign signified the changing monarchy. Queen Elizabeth II approved their wedding from the first but the British press and media were skeptical about the couple.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were stepping down as senior royals in 2020, the monarchy was harshly criticized.
