James Joseph Cramer (born February 10, 1955) is a television personality and novelist from the United States. He is the host of CNBC’s Mad Money and an anchor for Squawk on the Street.

Cramer was the founder and senior partner of Cramer Berkowitz and a hedge fund manager. Cramer is the author of many books, including Confessions of a Street Addict (2002), Real Money: Sane Investing in an Insane World (2005), Mad Money: Watch TV, Get Rich (2006), and Get Rich Carefully (2008).
