The teenage goalkeeper appeared in 33 of 34 games and two more in UEFA Cup qualifying as Sommer and Vaduz won both the second division and promotion to the top tier.

He is widely considered as one of the top goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. Currently, the Swiss, along with Liverpool’s Shaqiri, is one of the top players in the country. Sommer married Alina in August 2019, whom he began dating in 2016. Their daughter, Mila, was born on 4 November 2019.

Borussia Mönchengladbach

Early Career

Yann Sommer signed a five-year contract with German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach on March 10, 2014, taking effect from July 1. He was brought in to replace Marc-André ter Stegen, who had left for Barcelona. Sommer’s first season at Mönchengladbach ended in third place in the Bundesliga, the club’s greatest league position since 1978.

The club also broke its previous mark of 17 consecutive matches without defeat, which it had accomplished during the 1970–71 season. Sommer made his DFB-Pokal debut against FC 08 Homburg, which Gladbach won 3–1. Sommer drew 1–1 with VfB Stuttgart on the first day of the season.

In a 1–0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund, he was memorably lobbed from long range by teammate Christoph Kramer, although Gladbach went on to secure qualifying for the UEFA Champions League with one match remaining. Sommer was awarded Gladbach’s player of the season at the end of the season.

Yann Sommer for Borussia Monchengladbach
2015- 2018

Gladbach started the 2015–16 season badly, losing 4–0 against Borussia Dortmund, with Sommer being blamed for the first goal. The team was rumoured to be in serious financial distress, and before the club’s first Champions League match of the season, the players conducted crisis meetings to discuss their issues. Sommer was widely chastised for his performance after losing 3–0 against Sevilla.

Lucien Favre resigned as coach of 1. FC Köln after their fifth consecutive Bundesliga defeat. In comparison to the previous year, it was Gladbach’s poorest start to a season.

The team has greatly improved under new interim manager André Schubert, with four victories from four matches, culminating in Schubert’s permanent appointment. Sommer was forced to miss the game against VfL Wolfsburg owing to a fractured nose, which he sustained in the Champions League against Manchester City. Tobias Sippel came in for him in the Wolfsburg game. Sommer finally played in all of the remaining Bundesliga games, and his performances piqued Manchester City’s interest.

However, Borussia Mönchengladbach finished fourth in the 2015–16 season and qualified for the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League, where they finished third in their group alongside Barcelona, Manchester City, and Celtic. They then advanced to the Europa League round of 16, where they were eliminated by Schalke 04 on the away goal rule following a 3–3 draw on aggregate.

Antoine Griezmann Bio, Age, Height, Weight, Wife, Net Worth & Wiki

Antoine Griezmann is a French footballer who plays for both the French national team and Atletico Madrid. Born and raised in Macon, France, he has always had a passion for football since he was young. Genetics however prevented him from growing much in height and frame and hence he was turned down by many youth programs at leading clubs. He gained attention from several professional clubs in 2005, including Real Sociedad, while playing for the local team Montpellier.

In the 2009-2010 season, he made his debut for ‘Sociedad,’ winning five out of four games that he played during their pre-season campaign. Antoine moved to Atletico Madrid in July 2014 after four successful seasons at Sociedad. As a result of his steadily improving performances, he was rewarded with another contract from Madrid in 2016, which would keep him with the club until 2021. He participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the Euro 2016 with his national team. He received the Golden Boot award at the latter for his outstanding goal-scoring performance.

ControversiesAntoine Griezmann sparked controversy in 2017 after posting a picture of himself wearing blackface and an afro wig. He intended to impersonate a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, but the joke was clearly ill-advised and he quickly deleted the image from his social media accounts. Apologies soon followed.

Life Journey

Born on March 21, 1991, in Macon, France, Antoine Griezmann is the son of Isabelle and Alain. Having a stronghold in the political landscape in France, his father was a powerful and wealthy man. His mother was a hospital cleaner.

Antoine’s ancestry can be traced back to Portugal, where his grandfather, Amaro Lopes, was a renowned footballer for the national team. In light of his family’s history with football, little Antoine decided to give it a go himself. Moreover, Zinedine Zidane inspired him to practice and train hard to achieve his goal of becoming a footballer.

The youth programs at Lyon, the nearby well-known soccer club, were well known for their excellence. There were several reasons why Antoine was rejected, including being short and weighing very little. Disheartened by this, Antoine turned to the second-best option, his local club UF Macon. A powerful political influence from his father also contributed greatly to his selection. At UF Macon, Antoine worked on his skills further so that the best youth programs could take notice of him.

His short frame was a major obstacle to his selection for the subsequent youth academies. But Antoine wasn’t one to give up and, in 2005, he was hired by Montpellier, where he demonstrated his footballing skills for the first time. Antoine’s performance in the Paris friendly against Paris Saint-Germain caught the attention of Real Sociedad executives.

Antoine was given a trial week by Society and after that week ended, Society offered his parents a contract to keep him at their youth academy. In the beginning, Antoine’s parents were a bit skeptical about sending him to Spain, but they eventually gave in.

Erika Choperena and Antoine Griezmann dated for a very long time before they got married in June 2017. In the presence of close friends and family members, the wedding ceremony was secret. The couple had a daughter named Mia before they got married.

In addition to his older brother, Antoine has an older brother who is also on his way to becoming a footballer.

With his base salary of $27 million, Antoine has been among the world’s top 10 high-paid soccer players in some seasons.

The endorsements Griezmann earns each year allow him to earn $5-6 million aside from his salary. He is perhaps best known for his sponsorship relationship with Puma, and he has appeared in many of the company’s commercials. The Puma boots he released in 2017 were custom-made for him. He has also been featured on the cover of the FIFA video game series (alongside Lionel Messi) in 2014 for the French release.

As well as Beats Electronics headphones and Head & Shoulders shampoo, Antoine has appeared in commercials for Gillette razors, Huawei smartphones, and Gillette razors.

Antoine’s outstanding start at Real Sociedad earned him a five-year contract with a release clause of 30 million euros. The 30 million release clause was paid by Atletico Madrid to get Griezmann on their team in 2014. After that, he signed a contract with Atletico for six years. In 2016, the team was banned from making transfers, so Griezmann had to amend his contract to include a 100 million euro buyout clause.

Barcelona was heavily linked with the French player at this point. Griezmann’s commitment to Atletico is signaled by yet another contract extension recently signed, signaling that Barca was set back by an alleged illegal approach. The former Atletico Madrid player announced he will leave the team in 2019, after five years with the club. As a result, he became one of the most expensive footballers in history after signing for Barcelona for 210 million euros.

Football Career

  • He attended school during the day and practiced football at night and on weekends during his first year at Sociedad. After that, Antoine remained a part of the club’s youth program and made his competitive debut in the 2009-10 season, which was a very long time by the club’s standards.
  • His five goals in four pre-season games earned him a spot in the league season after his performance in the pre-season games.
  • In September 2009, he made his professional debut against Huesca and scored his first goal in his debut match, leading his team to a 2-0 win. He scored his second goal two weeks later against Salamanca and further scored many goals to make his team qualify for the La Liga.
  • After being forced into signing a contract with Antoine in April 2010, Real Sociedad kept him on until 2015.
  • Real Sociedad noticed him before he signed the contract, along with clubs such as Manchester United and Arsenal, but he decided to join Sociedad instead.
  • As a defender for USMNT, he scored a goal to draw 2-2 with defending champions Barcelona in the 2011-12 season. As a result of his incredible performance in the final league game of the season 2012-13, his team qualified for the UEFA Championship League for the first time in almost a decade.
  • Atletico Madrid first approached Real Sociedad about Antoine in July 2014, and later that month, Antoine signed a six-year deal with Madrid. Antoine scored his first goal for Madrid against Olympiacos in August 2014, during a Champions League group stage match.
  • As a player in La Liga, he scored his first hat-trick against Athletic Bilbao on December 14, 2014. In spite of playing only three La Liga matches for Madrid out of the five games they played, Antoine won the monthly award for La Liga in January 2015.
  • By the end of the 2014-15 season, Antoine’s goal tally reached 22 goals, and he was therefore named to the LFP Team of the Year. As the team’s third forward, he played alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
  • He led his team to the finals of the Champions League in May 2015, where they lost. A contract extension with Atletico Madrid was announced in July 2016 that will extend his stay until 2021. As Player of the Match in a Champions League group match against Rostov during the 2016-2017 season, Antoine scored two goals.
  • After increasing interest from English Premier League teams, rumors were rife regarding his departure from Atletico Madrid in June 2017. In the end, he signed another contract with Atletico to remain with the club until 2022, thus putting an end to rumors.
  • His early departure to Spain prevented him from being considered for the national youth teams. In 2010, he was named to the national team for the UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship, where he led his team to victory. In November 2012, he was suspended for disciplinary reasons. He considered joining the national team of Portugal following this event.
  • France’s 2014 FIFA World Cup was his first international appearance and he did quite well. As a result, his team lost in the quarterfinals to Germany, which went on to win the World Cup. It was at the 2016 UEFA Euro that he reached the final of his team, where they lost to Portugal.
  • Antoine’s performance didn’t go unnoticed, and he was named the Golden Boot winner and a member of the team of the tournament despite his team’s elimination from the tournament.

Napoli

2010-11

Cavani joined Napoli in July 2010. The transfer, on the other hand, was a loan of €5 million plus an option/obligation to buy outright for €12 million, for a total cost of €17 million. Cavani scored twice in his first start for Napoli after making his debut as a substitute the previous game, as Napoli defeated Elfsborg 2-0 in the UEFA Europa League to qualify for the main tournament.

He subsequently began his Serie A career with Napoli, scoring a contentious goal after only seven minutes against Fiorentina, with replays showing the ball falling on the line. Cavani also scored in his home debut against Bari before adding a late winner against Sampdoria, making him the first Napoli player to score in four competitive matches.

Cavani came in as a late substitution with 30 minutes remaining in Napoli’s 1-0 loss to Cesena on September 26. After assisting on the equaliser, he went on to score two more goals, bringing the final score to 4-1. As a result, Cavani now shares the league scoring lead with Internazionale’s Samuel Eto’o.

Cavani’s collaboration with fellow strikers Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamk earned them the nickname “The Three Tenors” after the renowned singing quartet of the same name. Cavani scored in the 92nd minute against Steaua București on December 15 to lead his club to a 1-0 win and advance past the Europa League group stage.

He scored an equalising goal in the 97th minute of the first match, which was played on Romanian soil. Cavani scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Juventus on January 9, 2011, with the third goal coming via a diving header. Cavani netted another hat-trick on January 30th, this time in a 4-0 win over Sampdoria. Cavani maintained his excellent run by scoring a brace against Roma in Napoli’s 2-0 victory.

Cavani netted another brace in a 2-1 win over Cagliari on March 20. With eight games remaining, they are now only three points behind leaders Milan. Cavani scored another hat-trick in a 4-3 comeback win over Lazio on 3 April, after falling down 2-0 and 3-2 throughout the game.

He also became Napoli’s all-time leading league goalscorer in a single season, with 25 in Serie A. He was sent a red card for two bookable offences in a 2-1 away loss to Lecce on May 8. He sarcastically praised the referee after the decision and received a two-match suspension as a result.

With only two games remaining in the season, his season was done and he would not be able to reclaim first place in the Serie A scoring rankings, as Antonio Di Natale had passed him with 26 goals. Cavani signed a new five-year deal with Napoli on May 19, keeping him at the club until 2016.

2011-12

Cavani scored the first goal in Napoli’s first Champions League game, a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on September 14. Four days later, on September 18, he scored three goals against Milan in Napoli’s 3-1 home victory.

Cavani scored both goals in Napoli’s 2-1 Champions League victory over Manchester City on November 22, putting the club in pole position to follow Bayern Munich into the knockout stage. On November 26, Cavani equalised against Atalanta in the 94th minute after Napoli fell down in the 64th minute through on-loan Napoli striker Germán Denis.

Cavani scored twice in Napoli’s 6-1 thumping of Genoa on December 21, enabling the Azzurri to conclude 2011 strong and complete the first half of the season in the sixth position. Cavani scored two goals against Fiorentina on February 17, 2012, propelling Napoli to fifth place ahead of Internazionale. Cavani scored the second goal against Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 in Naples on February 21. He also assisted on both of Ezequiel Lavezzi’s goals that night. Napoli then went on to win this game 3-1.

Following Napoli’s elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Chelsea, Cavani scored two goals in the final ten minutes against Udinese to secure a much-needed draw and keep Napoli in contention for the final Champions League qualifying slot.

A few days later, he scored on a spectacular counter-attack against Siena to secure Napoli’s spot in the Coppa Italia final. On April 21, he scored in a 2-0 win over Novara to mark his 200th career league appearance.  Cavani concluded the league season with 23 goals, tying him for third place with Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale.  Cavani scored a penalty in the 2012 Coppa Italia final against Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, which Napoli won.

He also became Napoli’s all-time leading league goalscorer in a single season, with 25 in Serie A. He was sent a red card for two bookable offences in a 2-1 away loss to Lecce on May 8. He sarcastically praised the referee after the decision and received a two-match suspension as a result.

With only two games remaining in the season, his season was done and he would not be able to reclaim first place in the Serie A scoring rankings, as Antonio Di Natale had past him with 26 goals. Cavani signed a new five-year deal with Napoli on May 19, keeping him at the club until 2016.

A month later, on September 26, Cavani scored a stunning hat-trick against Lazio to help Napoli retain their unbeaten start to the Serie A season with a 3-0 victory.

Toward the close of the season, rumours surfaced that Cavani was about to depart Napoli, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid all interested.

He also became Napoli’s all-time leading league goalscorer in a single season, with 25 in Serie A. He was sent a red card for two bookable offences in a 2-1 away loss to Lecce on May 8. He sarcastically praised the referee after the decision and received a two-match suspension as a result.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told Canal+, “Why did he previously receive the yellow card? He celebrates, in the same way, every time.” Cavani scored the only goal of the game against Cypriot club APOEL on November 5, 2014, putting PSG into the Champions League knockout round with two games to spare.

PSG manager Laurent Blanc fined and suspended Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi in January 2015 for skipping a mid-season training camp in Morocco and the first training session following the winter break.  He scored two goals as a second-half replacement for Lavezzi as PSG defeated Bastia 4-0 in the 2015 Coupe de la Ligue Final on April 11, 2015. On May 8, he scored three goals in a 6-0 victory over Guingamp, giving PSG a six-point lead in Ligue 1 with two games remaining.

PSG completed a domestic triple on 30 May, as Cavani headed the game’s sole goal – his 31st in all competitions that season – to defeat Auxerre in the Coupe de France final. Cavani and PSG opened the 2015 Trophée des Champions season against Lyon on August 1, with him scoring the second goal in a 2-0 victory. Cavani scored the game-winning third goal in PSG’s 4-2 2016 Coupe de France Final victory against Marseille, completing the club’s second successive Ligue 1-Coupe de France-Coupe de la Ligue domestic triple.

2016-18

Cavani scored in just 44 seconds in the first half of PSG’s opening 2016-17 Champions League Group A encounter against Arsenal at the Parc des Princes on September 13, 2016, for the club’s fastest-ever Champions League goal. The game concluded in a 1-1 tie. On September 16, Cavani scored four goals (his first four-goal haul with PSG) in the first half as PSG defeated Caen 6-0 away in a Ligue 1 match, ending PSG’s three-match winless skid, two of which were in Ligue 1.

On November 30, he scored a penalty in a 2-0 home win over Angers to increase his Ligue 1 tally to 14 goals in 14 matches, making him only the fourth player in PSG history to record 100 competitive goals. Cavani scored one goal in each leg of PSG’s 6-5 aggregate loss to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 ties, bringing his season total to eight goals from eight matches. He scored two second-half goals in PSG’s 4-1 triumph against Monaco in the 2017 Coupe de la Ligue Final on April 1, 2017. He was crowned Ligue 1 Player of the Year on May 15, 2017, after scoring 35 goals.

2018-20

Cavani made his season debut on August 25, 2018, after missing PSG’s first three games due to an injury sustained during the 2018 World Cup. Cavani, Neymar, and Mbappé all scored in a 3-1 league win over Angers at home, with Cavani getting the opener off a pass from Neymar.

Cavani scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Monaco on November 11, 2018. Cavani scored in PSG’s 2-1 win against Orléans in the Coupe de La Ligue on December 18th, his 15th goal in the competition, tying Pauleta’s record for most goals in the competition.

After the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PSG was awarded the 2019-20 Ligue 1 championship in April 2020; at the time of the League’s suspension, PSG was in the first position, with a twelve-point advantage over second-placed Marseille. PSG’s sports director Leonardo confirmed on June 13 that Cavani, along with colleague Thiago Silva, will be departing the club after the end of the Champions League season in August.

Manchester United

2020-21

Cavani joined Premier League team Manchester United on a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year on October 5, 2020.  He was granted the coveted number 7 jersey.  He made his Premier League debut off the bench against Chelsea on October 24, 2020.

Cavani scored his first Premier League goal in a 3-1 away win over Everton on November 7. Cavani scored twice, including the game-winning goal in extra time, in a 3-2 comeback triumph over Southampton on November 29 after coming on as a half-time replacement.

He scored the fourth goal in United’s Premier League record-equaling 9-0 triumph over Southampton on February 2, 2021. On April 29, he scored twice and assisted on two more goals in a 6-2 home triumph against Roma in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals; he scored again in a 3-2 defeat in the return leg, allowing United to proceed to the final 8-5 on aggregate.

Cavani scored five goals and received three men of the match awards in four starts in April, earning him his first Manchester United player of the month accolade.

Cavani’s contract was officially extended for another season on May 10, 2021. On May 18, in a 1-1 home draw with Fulham, Cavani scored the first goal at Old Trafford with spectators in attendance since the COVID-19 epidemic began, a 40-yard lob.  For his efforts, he was later named Premier League Goal of the Month. On May 26, he equalised in a 1-1 draw against Villarreal in the Europa League Final; nonetheless, Manchester United lost on penalties, despite Cavani’s shot attempt in the shoot-out.

2021-22

Cavani started the 2021-22 season with the number 7 shirt against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but once Cristiano Ronaldo arrived, he decided to switch to the number 21 shirt, the same number he wore for the Uruguay national team. He scored his first goal of the season in a 3-0 away win over Tottenham Hotspur on October 30th, assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick revealed on May 22, 2022, that Cavani will be departing the club when his contract ends at the conclusion of the season.

International Career

Youth

Cavani was chosen to play for Uruguay’s national under-20 squad in the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay in January 2007. He ended the tournament as the competition’s leading scorer, with seven goals in nine games, helping Uruguay finish third and win a spot in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Senior

2010 World Cup and 2011 Copa América

Cavani earned his first senior debut for Uruguay, scoring in a 2-2 tie with Colombia on February 6, 2008. On the counterattack from a corner, he scored from his own area.

Cavani set up Luis Suárez’s goal in Uruguay’s 1-0 triumph against Mexico in the last group stage match of the 2010 World Cup on June 22, 2010. Uruguay topped Group A and went to the round of 16. He scored against Germany in the third-place match on July 10, 2010, tying the score at 1-1; Germany went on to win 3-2.

On October 8, 2010, he scored his first international hat-trick against Indonesia in a 7-1 triumph in Jakarta, in which Luis Suárez also scored a hat-trick.

Cavani was a member of Uruguay’s team for the 2011 Copa América in Argentina. He started the first two group games, but a knee injury suffered in the second game against Chile forced him to miss the final. In the final, he came in after 63 minutes to replace lvaro Pereira and was involved in his team’s last goal as Uruguay defeated Paraguay 3-0 to win a record 15th title.

2012 Olympics

Cavani was one of three over-age players chosen by Uruguay for the Summer Olympics in 2012. Cavani equalised in the semi-finals of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup against the hosts and eventual champions Brazil, who won 2-1. He levelled twice against Italy in the third-place match, his second goal coming from a free kick, forcing the game to penalties. Despite Cavani’s penalty kick, Uruguay lost; he was chosen man of the match for his effort.

Cavani scored the game-winning goal in Uruguay’s 5-0 triumph against Jordan in the 2014 World Cup play-off on November 13, 2013. Cavani opened the goal in their opening group game of the championships, against Costa Rica, at Fortaleza, with a penalty after Diego Lugano was brought down. Uruguay, on the other hand, finally fell 3-1.  Colombia eliminated Uruguay in the round of 16 on June 28, 2014, with a 2-0 victory.

Post World Cup

With Suárez sidelined for the duration of the tournament, Cavani was Uruguay’s indisputable starting at the 2015 Copa América in Chile. Cavani was sent off for two bookings in the quarter-finals against the hosts at the Estadio Nacional: the first for a foul on Arturo Vidal, and the second for swiping at Gonzalo Jara’s face after Jara had jabbed him in the buttocks.

The event gained virtually instantaneous and extensive worldwide publicity in newspapers and on the internet, primarily in Cavani’s defence. Articles, editorials, blogs, memes, and cartoons were all widely distributed. The Australian tabloids drew parallels to what they called “Hopoate,” a similar infamous on-field anus-poking event from rugby.

China, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States also provided extensive worldwide coverage of the tragedy. Goal.com, Business Insider, ESPNFC, and Bleacher Report were among the websites that provided coverage. The World Game, The Huffington Post, and Dirty Tackle are some of the sites I’ve read.

Teammate Jorge Fucile was eventually ejected, and holders Uruguay were defeated 1-0. Cavani also competed in the Copa América Centenario the following year, however, he went scoreless as Uruguay were ousted in the first round.

Uruguay competed in the China Cup in 2018. Cavani led Uruguay to the trophy by scoring the game-winning goal against Wales in the final.

2018 World Cup

Cavani concluded the CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying as the leading scorer, with ten goals. Cavani was a member of Uruguay’s side that won the China Cup in March 2018. He scored in the 2-0 semi-final victory against the Czech Republic, and he scored the lone goal in the final against Wales, his 100th cap.

Cavani scored the game-winning goal in Uruguay’s 3-0 triumph against hosts Russia in the last group game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 25. Cavani subsequently went on to score both of Uruguay’s goals against Portugal in a 2-1 Round of 16 triumphs on 30 June, despite being replaced in the second half with an apparent hamstring injury.

2019 Copa America

Cavani was included in Uruguay’s final 23-man roster for the 2019 Copa América in Brazil in March 2019. On June 16, Cavani scored “an incredible bicycle-kick” in a 4-0 win over Ecuador in the team’s first Copa América group match; it was his first goal in the Copa América.

On June 29, he had a goal rejected by VAR for offside in regular time in the quarter-finals against Peru; after a 0-0 tie, the match went to a penalty shoot-out. Despite Cavani’s successful penalty attempt, Peru won the shootout 5-4, eliminating Uruguay from the competition.

Loan To Ponte Preta

In July 2013, Advincula joined Brazilian club Ponte Preta on a six-month loan following the recommendation of manager Paulo César Carpegiani. After Cicinho left the Macaca, the Peruvian player was expected to replace him as the starting right-back. However, he only made four appearances for the club, as he was usually third-choice behind Arthur and Regis on the right side of the defense.

The player was disfavored by Jorginho, who described him as a “technically weak” player. The 29th of October marked the date of his release from the club.

Loan To Vitoria de Setubal

Vitoria de Setubal loaned me a one-year contract on 19 August 2014.

As a result of a successful season at Rayo Vallecano, it was reported that the club had decided to redeem the players’ buying option, especially after Peru played well in Copa America.

In spite of this, Rayo was relegated from La Liga during the season in which he was at the club, so it was reported that he would be sold after Rayo had redeemed himself.

On 20 June 2021, Rayo was promoted to the first division of La Liga with Advincula as a substitute following play-offs

Which partners are best, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik or Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik?

Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan both are at par if you check their overall singing career and both of them sang songs within their own limitations, but when you talk about duet song they essentially express the love and both were good. The common factor Alka Yagnik with no doubt is the far better singer than the other two so.

What was the speculation behind the crack between Anuradha Paudwal and Alka Yagnik?

It all began in the song “Mujhe Neend Na Aaye” which was recorded in Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik’s voice. After the song was recorded, Mr. Late Gulshan Kumar occurred and asked the director/producer and the musician to re-record it in Anuradha Paudval’s voice. No surprises at all, Gulshan Kumar always was a manipulator and opportunistic with no morals or ethics. After Gulshan Kumar’s death, his brothers and kids kicked her out of the syndicate, and look she’s nowhere. Shes lost all her respect and dignity now. None of the music directors or singers talk good of her anytime.

Who is the greater singer, Lata Mangeshkar or Alka Yagnik?

Obviously, Lata Mangeskar is a great Indian singer, but Alka Yagnik is also too good.
