He became the Garland Independent School District’s youngest official when he was employed as a pupil representative. Jones campaigned for a position on the state board of education for this area when he was 19 years old, but he was defeated. He served on the Dallas County Child Welfare Board for 2 years. He was named editor-in-chief of the conservative website Campus Reform in February 2018. He moved to New York City in October 2019 when it was reported that he has been elevated to a regular replacement host and co-host job at Fox News.
