Along with Training Day, the site notes Hawke’s paydays for Daybreakers ($4 million) and Assault on Precinct 13 ($3 million). Those three films added up to $19 million before taxes and other expenses. Considering Hawke’s successes since that figure has likely climbed closer to $60 million.

When making The Purge, Hawke reportedly settled for a low salary in exchange for a piece of the profits. (He also worked without a trailer or driver to keep costs low.) It was a good gamble, with Hawke reportedly pocketing $5-6 million after the box office returns come back.

After selling his Manhattan townhouse for a reported $6.25 million, Hawke now lives in a $3.95 million house in Boerum Hill and owns a private island in Nova Scotia.

At the end of 1980, Ross began negotiations to leave the Motown label. She received $250,000 in severance from the label after 20 years with them. Ross then went on to sign a $20 million, seven-year contract with RCA Records, which was the most expensive recording deal in history at the time.

For many years Diana’s primary residence has been a large mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut. She listed the home, which sits on 5-acres, for sale at one point in 2007 for $39.5 million. She did not find a buyer and after the real estate market crashed successfully lobbied to receive a refund for property taxes which in retrospect were not reflective of the true value. It is technically two parcels, one which is assessed at around $9 million, and the other which is assessed at $10 million since it is waterfront.

She got into a dispute with a security guard in 1999 at London’s Heathrow Airport, and as a result, was arrested and detained for four hours before being released. Cicely Tyson Bio, Age, Children, Net Worth, Movies, TV Shows & Wiki

Cicely Tyson is a renowned American actress who is best recognized for her appearance as Rebecca Morgan in the movie ‘Sounder’. A high-profile actress, Tyson, through her strength and perfection created a stand for herself in the field of entertainment that delivered her an iconic African American personality to reckon with. Despite coming from a culture that ragged black women as ‘worthless’, Tyson not just showed it otherwise but also advanced the bar for the position of women and their engagement in the entertainment industry. Unlike other actresses who believed whatever performances came their way, Tyson was remarkably choosy about her work.

More than often, she flatly declined to do movies, or take parts individually for the paycheck. She was remarkably selective about the characters she chose as she wanted them to have depth and meaning. As such, Tyson’s career trajectory wasn’t always a constant one. Often she fought to find meaningful work. However, looking back, Tyson’s career has been decorated with a chain of successful acting projects including ‘The Help’, ‘The Trip to Bountiful’, ‘The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman’, ‘Sounder’, and ‘Roots.’ A Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree, she also has many other awards in her kitty.

Life Journey

Tyson was born in Harlem, the daughter of Frederica Tyson, a household worker, and William Augustine Tyson, who served as a carpenter, painter, and at any other job, he could see. Her parents were newcomers from Nevis in the West Indies. Her father came to New York City at age 21 and was treated at Ellis Island on August 4, 1919.

At age 18, Tyson wedded Kenneth Franklin on December 27, 1942. The marriage was later ended. She first dated jazz trumpeter Miles Davis in the 1960s, while he was going through his divorce with dancer Frances Davis. Davis used a photo of Tyson for his 1967 album, Sorcerer.

Davis told the press in 1967 that he planned to marry Tyson in March 1968 after his divorce was concluded, but he married singer Betty Davis that September. Tyson and Davis rekindled their connection in 1978. They were married on November 26, 1981, in a ceremony conducted by Atlanta mayor Andrew Young at the home of actor Bill Cosby.

Their marriage was disturbed due to Davis’ volatile temper and betrayal. Davis charged Tyson with saving his life and helping him defeat his cocaine addiction. They lived in Malibu, California, and New York City, until she registered for divorce in 1988. Their divorce was settled in 1989, two years before Davis died in 1991.

Tyson has no children. However, actress RaéVen Larrymore Kelly is her adopted granddaughter. Tyson chose Kelly to be her granddaughter in her NBC TV series, “Sweet Justice” with Melissa Gilbert.

David Death, Causes & More

In 2008, Cassidy publicly admitted he had an alcohol problem.

On February 20, 2017, following a performance in which Cassidy had difficulty remembering the lyrics of songs he had been performing for nearly 50 years and appeared to fall off the stage, he announced that he was living with dementia and was retiring from all further performing. He said that his mother and grandfather had also suffered from dementia at the end of their lives, and that “I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming.”

Later in 2017, Cassidy fell ill at a recording studio and was hospitalized. In a later phone conversation with an A&E producer, he stated that he had just met with his doctor, that he had liver disease, and that his life had “changed dramatically.” Cassidy added that he had been unconscious and near death for the first few days after the incident, but that his memory had returned. Cassidy also acknowledged that there was “no sign of  at this stage of life,” adding that “[it] was complete alcohol poisoning-and the fact is, I lied about my drinking.” Cassidy said, “You know, I did it to myself, man. I did it to myself to cover up the sadness and the emptiness.” Cassidy had told his family and others that he had given up drinking.

He Has Questionable Tattoos

The decisions Ben Affleck has made regarding tattoos could be better. He shocked everyone when he inked a gigantic tattoo covering his entire back depicting a phoenix rising from the flames after he broke up with Jennifer Garner. However, this was not the only tattoo that had raised eyebrows. With a fake ID when he was 16, he got the name of his girlfriend tattooed on his right hip, which he eventually covered up with a dolphin.

He Once Won a Poker Tournament

Even though Affleck probably doesn’t need the money, in 2004, he won a staggering $356,400 in prize money participating in a three-day knock-out no-limit Texas Hold ’em tournament. There were almost 90 participants at the event, and Affleck won this prize by beating them all.

If you fancy your luck at such a tournament, with the rise in popularity of online gaming, you can find an online casino wherever you are in the world. For example, Indian players can access thousands of casino games, including slot machines, blackjack, and poker. When signing up for a new site, there is often a range of generous welcome bonuses, such as a 100% deposit bonus up to ₹60,000 or even a ₹126,000 deposit bonus plus 150 free spins! If you are a new player, you should look at reviews to identify the casinos that offer the best casino bonuses. If you enter a poker tournament, you’ll want to channel your inner Ben Affleck to increase your chances of winning.

He is a Die-hard Fan of the Boston Red Sox

We all have our favourite sports teams we cheer on, but Ben Affleck takes his love of the Boston Red Sox to a whole new level. He is such a die-hard fan that during the production of Gone Girl, he shut down the set over having to wear a New York Yankees hat. In the middle of filming Gone Girl, several days of production ceased due to a stalemate between Affleck and Fincher. It was Fincher’s wish for Affleck’s character to don a Yankees hat during one of the scenes. There was no way Affleck would represent one of his favourite teams’ rivals.

He Helped Matt Damon Into the Movie Industry

When Affleck was eight and Damon was ten, the pair met and lived two blocks away from one another while attending the same high schools in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Despite their friendship since childhood, Affleck was the one who inspired Damon to pursue a career in film. Having already had a few roles as a child star, Affleck introduced Damon to his New York agent, who subsequently signed him. Since then, the pair have starred in movies such as Field of Dreams, Good Will Hunting, The Last Duel and others, as shown on Matt Damon’s Biography page.

He’s Played Three Superheroes

Affleck has not only played one superhero, but he has played three! Apart from his portrayal of Daredevil, which was highly praised and widely ridiculed at the same time, and his recent role as Batman, the actor had the opportunity to portray George Reeve. Reeve played the star of the 1950s television series Adventures of Superman, which Affleck performed in Hollywoodland. By doing this, he becomes the first actor to wear both Batman’s and Superman’s costumes on-screen, an accomplishment worth mentioning.
