Dominik Livaković joined NK Zagreb’s first team at the start of the 2012-13 season. Initially the club’s backup goalkeeper, he made his league debut on August 31, 2012, playing the entire match in a 1-0 loss at home to HNK Cibalia.
He quickly became the club’s number one and appeared in 104 league games over four seasons, including 90 in the Prva HNL. On August 30, 2015, he agreed to join Dinamo Zagreb for the 2016-17 season.
