Essay structure

  • Introduction

These one-two paragraphs of text “introduce” the reader to the essence of the problematic issue and explain what the story is about. It is customary here to present all the facts, describe the situation, and ask the questions you will be answering.

The subjectivity of the genre does not have to put the author in a box. But in order to attract and not to lose the audience’s attention, you must immediately know the theme, the idea and some bright moment, which will be the main focus of the discussion.

  • The main part

The main part also does not have to be clearly spelled out. But there are rules for writing, which the author will be easier to write a text that is good for perception.

In your order:

  • thesis

  • argumentation

  • conclusion

Start with the formulation of the thesis (the beginning of the response to the set in the introduction of the article), show the arguments (substantiation of opinion), make a short conclusion. Such a structure is called a “clique structure”.

It is not worthwhile to translate the text of complex phrases, insert long phrases and incomprehensible terms – that’s what you cannot see in the mouth of the spoken language. Speeches also do not have to be metric. The more clarity of thought, the shorter the utterance, the more intelligible sense of the spoken word.
