Club Career
José Gálvez FBC
It was in January 2008 that he was loaned out to José Gálvez FBC for the 2008 Descentralizado season.
There Yotún made his professional debut on 5 March 2008 while playing for Coronel Bolognesi FC in the Torneo Descentralizado.
In the 46th minute, he replaced Renzo Guevara in the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Yotún scored his first official goal on 9 March 2008 against Atlético Minero in a 1–0 victory for his club.
On 14 December 2008, he played his last game for José Gálvez FBC, which ended in a 2–2 draw at home against Universidad San Martin.
During his first season with the Descentralizado, he made 28 league appearances and scored three goals.
As a result, José Gálvez avoided relegation that season by finishing in 9th place, just five points above the danger zone.
A return to Sporting Cristal for the 2009 Descentralizado season took place in January 2009.
In a league match at home against FBC Melgar on 9 May 2009, he made his debut for Sporting Cristal.
The match ended in a 2–1 win for Melgar after he made his debut at the San Martin de Porres Stadium in the 46th minute.
Yotún played his 100th Descentralizado match for Cristal in Round 15 away to Juan Aurich on 27 May 2012.
After Carlos Lobaton was sent off in the 61st minute, he was also named captain, but his side was unable to equalize, with Aurich winning 1–0.
Malmö FF
The Swedish champions Malmö FF announced on 27 January 2015 that they had signed Yotún on a three-year contract. The 2015 season marked his first season in Malmo, where he played as a left-back.
As the third choice behind newly arrived Behrang Safari and Pa Konate in the 2016 season, Yotún played at various midfield positions, where he excelled. Yotún emerged as a key player during the first half of the 2017 campaign and was elected player of the month by Malmö FF supporters.
Orlando City SC
Yotún signed with Orlando City of Major League Soccer on 4 August 2017. On August 13, he made his debut against New York Red Bulls, losing 3-1.
On September 28, Yotún scored his first goal for Orlando in a 6–1 victory over New England Revolution, in which he also contributed two assists. Yotún was named an All-Star in 2018.
Cruz Azul
As of 27 December 2018, Yotún was sold to Cruz Azul of Liga MX for $4 million.
Return to Sporting Cristal
During the week of 8 March 2022, Yotún returned to Sporting Cristal.
Yotun’s outstanding performance for Sporting Cristal in 2011 convinced new Peru national team coach Sergio Markarian to call him up for the 2011 Kirin Cup.
In the 62nd minute, he made his national team debut, replacing Jesus Rabanal.
Yotun’s performance against Uruguay in the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualification group on 9 September 2013 was widely criticized by Peruvians since he was expelled during the match, which many Peruvians argued cost Peru the qualification for the tournament.
In 2015, Yotun was a member of the team that finished third in the Copa América.
Peru’s loss to Colombia in the quarterfinals resulted in his suspension due to yellow card accumulation. He also played in all three group games of the 2016 Centenario edition.
Following Peru’s 5th-place finish in CONMEBOL qualifying and a victory in a playoff over New Zealand, Yotun was part of the team that qualified for the 2018 World Cup.
The country qualified for the first time in 36 years. During Peru’s third-place finish in the group, he was a member of the 23-man squad that traveled to Russia.
On 20 June 2021, he played his 100th match for Peru in a 2–1 victory over Colombia in the 2021 Copa América.
After reading his biography, you will agree with me that Yoshimar Yotun worked so hard to achieve success. Even poor kids from the slum can dream big and achieve their dreams thanks to him.
It is important to note that his father and mother were key catalysts in his success story. His career life would not be the same without their contributions. They deserve all the accolades for what they have done.
In addition, his sibling’s and friends’ efforts should not be overlooked. As a result, he never experienced loneliness or depression during his childhood. Yoshimar Yotun has grown into a cheerful youth as a result of them.

Life Journey
Toni Collett was born on 1 November 1972, in Sydney, the eldest of three children. Her father, Bob Collett, was a truck driver while her mother, Judy (née Cook), was a consumer service spokesperson. She performed on SBS TV’s Who Do You Think You Are? in August 2015 for “Season 7 Episode 2: Toni Collette,” to find out more about her grandparents.
Bob was probably born as a result of his mother Norma (née McWhinney) having an extra-marital affair with a US Navy Chief Petty Officer assigned in Australia during, and after, World War II. Norma and her husband (Harold “Stanley” Collett) was going through a separation, and Bob’s DNA test determined that Stanley was not his biological father. Despite a public attraction in August 2015, her biological grandfather’s name is not known.
She has expressed her family as, “the most communicative” but that despite her parents’ shortage of money, they made them feel cared for and they were supportive. She has fond memories of growing up in Blacktown where she entered Judy on Saturday afternoons watching movie matinees, sponsored by Bill Collins. She explained to her younger self as having “crazy” amounts of confidence.
When she was 11 she thought she had appendicitis and convinced doctors, she was taken to an emergency department and had the appendix eliminated. As a student at Blacktown Girls High School, her favorite activities included netball, tap-dancing, and swimming. She took part in local singing competitions. Her goal was to perform in musicals as she liked to sing and dance.
Her first acting role was a high school play of Godspell at 14 years old, which she auditioned for by singing Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love for You”. She chose to become an actor in the following year and was influenced by Geoffrey Rush’s stage appearance in The Diary of a Madman. At age 16, with her parents’ permission, she shifted to the Australian Theatre for Young People in 1989 and later revealed, “I was 16.
And it’s not like I wasn’t good at school, or I didn’t enjoy it, I did. I just loved acting more. I don’t regret that decision, but I can’t believe I made it.” The actor turned an extra “e” at the end of her surname, which Stanley Collett had removed, as it seemed better for a stage name. She began at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in early 1991; but left after 18 months to perform as Sonya in Uncle Vanya, directed by Neil Armfield, besides Rush in the title character.

Accidents & Personal Life
In her twenties, she found it difficult to adapt to being in the media spotlight, and, as a result, struggled with bulimia and panic attacks. During this time she toured widely, shaved her head five times, and bought a flat in Brixton, London. She intended to “explore different views and just look at life and try to understand it.” She left the Brixton flat after a few months because she saw a man “getting his head bashed in with a pole 30 meters away.”
Collette had dated her Velvet Goldmine co-star, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, for about a year (ca. 1997) before ending their relationship and described it as “hedonistic, drunken and probably dangerous.” When asked about her faith, she remarked, “We’re all spiritual, I’m not Buddhist but I am drawn to it because it seems the most beneficial of organized religions, and the most compassionate. It’s an ongoing journey.”
She met musician Dave Galafassi early in 2002, at a CD launch for his then-band Gelbison, the couple married in a traditional Buddhist ceremony on 11 January 2003. The couple has a daughter, Sage Florence, born on 9 January 2008, and a son, Arlo Robert, born on 22 April 2011. She has said that she is an avid camper and she enjoys meditating.
They lived in Sydney in the 2000s before moving to Los Angeles. The family returned to Sydney after about ten years in 2019. In December of that year Galafassi “had a devastating motorbike accident”; Collette thanked the ambulance services, “for your swiftness, clarity, knowledge, compassion, and dedication. You saved him and we cannot thank you enough.”
At the age of eleven, she showed her phenomenal acting skills when she faked appendicitis out of boredom and longing for attention; her act was so convincing that doctors had to remove her appendix, even though the test showed nothing was wrong with it.
At 16, she left school and enrolled in the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). At that time, she was a struggling actress, supporting herself by delivering pizzas. After 18 months of studies, she left NIDA for her feature film debut as “Wendy Robinson”, opposite Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins, in The Efficiency Expert (1992), and gained herself a nomination for Best Supporting Actress from the Australian Film Institute.
Collette made her stage appearance with the Sydney Theatre Company, as “Sonya” in Anton Chekhov’s “Uncle Vanya”, a performance that won her a critic’s circle award as Best Newcomer.
She also performed in stage productions at the Belvoir Street Theatre, under the directorship of Geoffrey Rush.
In 1994, she got the Australian Best Actress in a Lead Character for her work in Muriel’s Wedding (1994), for which she had to increase 40 pounds in seven weeks.
In 1995, Toni Collette came to Hollywood with a supporting character in The Pallbearer (1996), then had a series of supporting characters.
Her first lead as “Diana Spencer”, an Australian woman who shares the name and birthday of Princess Diana, in the comedy, Diana & Me (1997), was obscured by the real Diana’s death, which practically occurred at the same time when the movie was released.
Her breakthrough came with the role of “Lynn Sear” in The Sixth Sense (1999), for which she quite rightly won an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Her latest memorable role as “Sheryl”, a beaten-down but loving mother, in Little Miss Sunshine (2006), is also a fine group work with Abigail Breslin, Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, Paul Dano, and Alan Arkin.
Since 2003, Toni Collette has been married to musician Dave Galafassi, with whom she recorded her singing and songwriting debut album, titled “Beautiful Awkward Pictures”, in 2006.
She co-owns an independent production company in Australia and also continues her music career as a singer. Toni lives with her husband in Sydney, Australia, and owns a second home in Ireland.

Life Journey
Albert Sambi Lokonga Biography depicts Facts about his childhood, his early life, his parents (Desire and Josee), family, and siblings (Paul-Jose, and Fabrice) as well. Additionally, you can learn more about Sambi’s Girlfriend/Wife (to-be), Lifestyle, Personal Life, Net Worth, etc.
In a nutshell, this memoir consists of the Full History of a footballer – who became successful by learning from his brother’s mistakes and receiving unwavering guidance from his father.
From Sambi’s boyhood days until when he achieved success in the beautiful game of football, the Woodgram tells Sambi’s story. For the purpose of stimulating your autobiography appetite on the engaging nature of Sambi’s story, we deemed it appropriate to provide you with a gallery of his Early Years and Rise.
It comes without saying that Sambi is a very versatile footballer, a player with excellent technical skills. He can solve midfield problems through his instincts and intelligence. Although he is given a lot of accolades, his name is not the most prominent in Lokonga’s biography.
No worries, Woodgram is here for you – at your service. We would like to begin now, without further ado.
He is known by the nickname – Mister cool – among Life Story Enthusiasts. As well, the full names of Albert-Mboyo Sambi Lokonga are as follows: Albert-Mboyo Sambi Lokonga. A Belgian professional footballer came into this world on the 22nd day of October 1999. Albert Sambi Lokonga was born to his mother, Josee Lokonga, and his father, Desire Lokonga. They live They lived in the city of Brussels in the Republic of Belgium. There is no doubt that this is Belgium’s capital and the largest municipality in the country.
During his childhood, Sambi Lokonga was born into a family of many children, the result of the union between his parents. The two people he holds in the highest regard are his parents. Josee Lokonga (Sambi’s mom) and Desire Lokonga (Sambi’s dad).
In his youth Lokonga, along with his parents and siblings, spent most of his days in his hometown, the quaint town of Verviers. This is located in the Belgian province of Liege. When he was a little boy, people described Sambi as someone who was someone you could never get bored with, all because of the instruction he received about family companionship as a child.
Among all of his siblings (brothers and sisters), he was particularly close to one of them. It is no other than his brother Paul-Jose M’Poku (who is a professional footballer) that will do the honors for him.
Paul-Jose M’Poku is the oldest of the M’Poku siblings. As a matter of fact, he is called upon to be both a Big Brother and a Superhero at the same time. Quite simply, Paul-Jose M’Poku was the type of person who never let little Sambi wander in the dark alone.
In general, it is a generally accepted notion that mistakes are a normal part of life. Paul-Jose M’Poku is the type of brother who takes responsibility for his mistakes – (which you can read about in our Bios later). It was important for him to ensure that his little brother (Sambi) also gained knowledge from it.
It is possible that you are not aware of the fact that Albert Sambi Lokonga also spent his boyhood days with another brother. Fabrice Lokonga spent his boyhood days with his elder brother Albert. Well, tell you more about him in the later part of our Biography.
The Belgian footballer comes from a middle-class family. According to research, his father is a very versatile individual. We learned he worked at different jobs to support his family. Both Lokonga’s parents are hardworking. Let’s find out what they do for a living.
Firstly, Sambi’s father is a Belgian air traffic controller. Desire Lokonga worked for a bottled water company before getting this job. Meanwhile, Albert Sambi Lokonga’s Mother (loses) is a career woman. In addition to her husband, she must be extremely proud of her son’s accomplishments.
You can tell by his appearance that he is of African descent. Chris Nkunku, whose Congolese blood runs through his veins, lusts like no other. Albert Sambi Lokonga is also of Congolese descent. They are of Afro-Belgian descent.
If you don’t know, his dad (Desire Lokonga) used to play football in DR Congo. Thus, it is not surprising to see his three sons (Albert, Fabrice, and Paul) following in his footsteps. His parents and the entire family lived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo when Paul-Jose M’Poku was born, as did Sambi Lokonga.
Sambi Lokonga’s brother (Paul-Jose M’Poku) was born in 1992, which means he was born four years before the First Congo War began. Fabrice (his elder brother) was born in 1995, a year before Congo’s civil war began. Due to the war, Desire and Josee Lokonga decided to migrate their families to Belgium in order to secure their children’s future.
Albert Sambi Lokonga’s mother (Jose) gave birth to him two years after the Congo War, also known as Africa’s First World War. The decision made by Sambi’s parents saved the entire family. In case you missed it, Albert Sambi Lokonga has similar family roots to these footballers.
In this category are Belgians such as Christian Benteke, Dedryck Boyata, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Kabasele, Michy Batshuayj and Youri Tielemans. From the non-Belgian side, we found these names (European footballers) with Congolese heritage.
Kevin Mbabu, Claude Makelele, Denis Zakaha, and ex-Chelsea star Jose Bosingwa are among them.
After reaching compulsory school age, he was inducted into a learning system that suited him. Back then, he learned the game of football in the Pre-Javez neighborhood, which is where he mastered it. His eldest brother (aged 16) had just joined a big London club – Tottenham Hotspur academy – before Sambi began his soccer education at Anderlecht.
Paul-Jose M’Poku had a disastrous career with the Spurs. Sambi Lokonga’s parents considered it a grave mistake to send their 16-year-old son to England at that age.
Desire Lokonga (his mother) and Josee Lokonga (his father) vowed never to repeat such a mistake. Paul-lose M’Poku’s failure at Spurs served as a cautionary tale for Sambi, who learned from his brother’s other mistakes.
The plan to move to England remained a target, but it would never come too early, say his mother and father. When this youngster reached the age of ten, he had already played so many games of street football that he had moved his childhood dream to the next level. Sambi, aged ten in the year 2010 and following a successful trial, got enrolled with Anderlecht’s youth academy after a successful trial.
It has also been suggested that he would also be eligible to join Standard Liege – an academy that has produced stars such as M’Poku’s older brother (Paul-lose M’Poku) and Axel. He was astonished to find out that his sibling did not want to join the same academy as him.
During an interview with the media, Sambi revealed the reason why his parents refused him to join his brother’s club. He explained it as follows:
My father decided not to put us in the same club so that we do not have to compete with each other. If I were to imagine for a moment that my brother has a problem with Standard Liege’s management, I might suffer the consequences in the future.
The young prodigy worked his way up through the ranks at Anderlecht in a similar manner to Leander Dendoncker. Through his dedication and hard work, Sambi has emerged as the most important player in his age group as a result of his dedication and hard work.
There was only one other player who could match up with Sambi in that Anderlecht academy. This is none other than Jeremy Doku, the brilliant striker from Nigeria. When it comes to speed dribbling with arrogance – especially as a way of annoying opponents, Doku does it better than anyone else I’ve seen.
The most advanced midfielder in the Anderlecht youth system was Albert Sambi, who was considered the best player in the midfield. The playmaking abilities of Sambi propelled him to graduation in the year 2018 as a result of his deep-lying playmaking ability.
As soon as the midfield prodigy graduated from the Anderlecht academy, he immediately became one of the pillars of the first team for Anderlecht. In the short-term, Lokonga sees himself as a deep-lying and playmaking leader – as opposed to an advanced midfielder. After retiring as a player from Manchester City, the Legend got a job as a player-coach at Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht.
From the moment he got the job as a manager, Vincent Kompany began having an integral role in Lokonga’s professional life. In one day, the captain of Anderlecht – the person who is Hendrik Van Crombrugge – got injured seriously. Kompany chose Lokonga, despite Lokonga’s advancing age, to lead the Belgian club.
Prior to the decision, no one knew who Sambi Lokonga was – as the kind of guy who didn’t give big speeches in the dressing room. Even though he had a personality of his own, everyone wanted him to lead the team- all because of the exceptional qualities he possessed on the field. In fact, wearing the captain’s armband was a tremendous honor for him. As a captain of his club, Lokonga had his first taste of leadership in no time.
As a result, he was able to sort out a noisy quarrel between himself and two of his teammates – Lukas Nmecha and Michel Vlap – on the pitch. The fact that one is a leader of the team also comes with added scrutiny – something Lokonga has experienced.
At one point in time, he found himself at the center of controversy once upon a time. The fans accused Sambi of disrespecting the rainbow armband issued by the league. As a captain, Sambi Lokonga has shown a lack of support for the LGBTQ community by covering their rainbow captain band with Anderlecht’s usual white armband.
His actions resulted in anger on the part of the League, as was expected. They summoned Lokonga to explain what he had done – whether it was because of a superstitious belief or whether he had done it deliberately due to his dislike of LGBT. Sambi had promised to wear the rainbow armband in the next match as a gesture of peace.
After watching the controversy surrounding Sambi, the Arsenal manager decided to cast his summer transfer nets into the Belgian sea this summer. It was initially Arteta’s intention to bring Houssem Aouar to the Emirates, but then he changed his mind when he was tempted by a deal with Lokonga.
A few days ago, on the 19th day of July 2021, the news (Arsenal signed Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht) became the headline for the day. As a result of his signing, Sambi will join the likes of Nuno Tavares, who also signed for the London big boys – around the summer of 2021. In addition, he would be proud to have a partnership with Thomas Parley and Smith Rowe – a deadly midfield combination that can lead to goals.
There was no doubt that the time was right for him to join the London club. In addition to Sambi Lokonga’s parents, his older brothers must have also given him their blessings. Thus, there is a high probability of success in the English Premier League. I believe that one day, Sambi will be as dominant in midfield as Vaya Toure and Kevin De Bruyne are right now.
If he is given some trust by the coach as well as the supporters, there is no doubt that he would develop into a superstar. This is the reason why Arsenal signed Sambi Lokonga. Gunners’ recruitment policy has been rightly scrutinized in recent years due to bad transfer decisions made by the club.
Even so, the signing of Lokonga might be a sign of a change for the better for the team. Besides being a passer, he is also a schemer and a reader of the game. In short, the rest of Sambi’s biography can be considered history.
It is one of the best feelings in the world for a footballer to be able to find a person they love (especially after they have made it to the top). In Sambi’s case, he is (at the time of writing this) on the lookout for a girlfriend or a spouse. We can expect that in the near future, his career at Arsenal will stabilize. We think that (very soon), Sambi may make public who his girlfriend or wife to be will be.
It is not unlikely that the Bailer will want to have children since he is likely to have third-generation footballers in his family. Who is Sambi, apart from everything related to football? This section will reveal some more facts that will help you get to know him better.
First of all, do you love animals in general? If you do, then you are not alone. In fact, Sambi is one of the biggest animal lovers around. That is something we noticed during one of his visits to Saif Ahmad Belhasa, who is a billionaire and entrepreneur in Dubai.
In his spare time, Sambi enjoys relaxing by the poolside, as well as playing football. This is because he always does that in order to reduce stress and speed up the recovery process.
During this time, Sambi keeps all by himself – in the hopes of restoring his inner strength – in order to strengthen himself. For Sambi, it doesn’t matter whether he is on the water or in the desert. This Belgian is well acquainted with dolphin behaviors, and when it comes to interacting with the friendly aquatic mammal, he certainly knows how to do it.
It has been shown that he is not someone who is excessively proud of his fortunes, according to research. Sambi is another one of those people who dislikes talking about his wealth in terms of self-gratification.
It is clear, however, that he knows how to spend his money well. This is evident from the cars that we see around him. In one of his inspirational videos that contain a combination of his personality and lifestyle, we spotted what looks like Sambi’s car in one of the clips. Truly, the Belgian is a man of class.
One quality of a close-knit household is the fact that they lean on each other in moments of need – and always have each other’s back. Sambi’s family is a circle of strength and love.
We will tell you more about the immediate and extended family (relatives) of our subject in this section of our biography. So without further ado, let’s get started.
It is believed that football begins with the head of the house as far as the family is concerned. Sambi’s father – Desire Lokonga – started out as a professional footballer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Football is a sport he knows inside out since he is a man who knows the intricacies of the game.
When the First Congo War broke out in his country, he had no choice but to focus on saving his family and not his career. Desire found it hard to deal with retirement from football in the long run. In response, he vowed to continue living his dreams with the help of his three sons.
It would seem that managing a family made up of male footballers (both active and retired), including daughters, would also be a challenge. Thankfully, Sambi’s mother – losee Lokonga – sees it as a manageable situation. In the last few years, she has come a long way. She is the mother that everyone wishes they had.
One of the most popular of his siblings is Fabrice, and the other is Paul-lose. In spite of the fact that they aren’t as social as the Pogba brothers, these men have their own style or swagger that sets them apart from others.
The middle one of the siblings, Fabrice, is the one who is less popular than the two. He is three years younger than Paul-lose (his older brother) and four years older than Albert – the man whose life is the subject of this biography. The tallest of Albert’s brothers is Fabrice while the strongest of his brothers is Albert himself. In addition to that, he is also believed to be the widest – thanks to his claim that he did Taekwondo when he was a child.
In this section of our Bio, you can learn more about Albert Sambi Lokonga’s brothers. We will begin with Paul-lose M’Poku – the eldest member of the family.
The 19th day of April 1992 was the day on which he was born in Kinshasa, Zaire (DR Congo). His age makes him seven years older than his little brother – who is the focus of our Biography. Paul-lose, unlike his younger brothers Fabrice and Albert, bears the surname Mpoku instead of Fabrice.
In spite of having his family nationalize in Belgium (and being a Belgian citizen himself), Paul chose to play football for his motherland, the Democratic Republic of Congo. When I was filling out this biography, he (a winger) had just signed for the Turkish club – Konyaspor.
It was once upon a time that football witnessed a rivalry between the sons of Josee and Desire. There was a period between 2017 and 2020 when Albert and Paul competed against each other with their Anderlecht and Standard Liege shirts. Although they were blood brothers, they did not compete under the same flag. Sometimes, we tend to overlook the fact that there is a third brother. Fabrice was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the same country as his elder brother Paul-Jose Mpoku.
He was welcomed into the world by Desire and Losee on the 8th of January 1995, which means that he is four years older than Albert. In addition to his elder and younger brothers, Fabrice is also a footballer – though he has not had the same success as them. At the time that I am writing this bio, he is playing for Erpeldange, a football club in Luxembourg.
The records from sources suggest that his name was Eliezer Mpoku. He is the little cousin of Albert Sambi, and he is a defensive midfielder born in 2001. Eliezer Mpoku chose not to leave DR Congo for Belgium, but rather to settle in Switzerland, his country of birth.
Melissa is the name that she goes by. The beautiful lady is Paul-Jose M’Poku’s wife. There is research that indicates that she – together with her husband – loves to go on desert tours. One of those holiday trips was during the time when Melissa was pregnant with their son, Isaiah. As a wife to her husband, Melissa Mpoku is more than just that. Our research revealed that she once played the role of a fitness trainer – to her lover – while conducting the survey.
His name is Isaiah M’Poku, and he is the son of Paul-Jose M’Poku and Melissa M’Poku. It is important to note that Isaiah is more than just a nephew to Sambi. He often refers to him as his son because of his close relationship with him. Isaiah is most likely to be the first member of his family’s third generation to become a professional footballer. It should not be forgotten that Samba’s father was a former professional footballer.
In the context of his first visit to Congo – as a professional footballer, he had the opportunity to enjoy his parents’ hometown. During the visit, Sambi got a chance to meet his extended family for the first time. The information from the internet indicates a lack of documentation about the identity of Samba’s relatives. However, one thing is certain: they are the backbone of his supporters back in Congo, and they form the grassroots of the movement.
Danny Welbeck has been Sambi’s nickname for a long time. The reason for this is that he has the same hair cut as the ex-Manchester United and Arsenal striker. He also has Danny Welbeck’s old Arsenal number 23 on his jersey, in case you weren’t aware of that.
Mind you, that is not the only nickname he goes by. As a reflection of his first name, Albert, his friends also refer to him as Babert or Alberto. The name Simbi was given to him by his mother, and there is no doubt that she could have done a better job! Speaking about the reason for the name, the Bailer said;
She told me that they called quite a few kings in the past by that name.
As a final word, fans nicknamed Simbi Mister Cool, because he looks relaxed all the time. During the time that he spent with Anderlecht, Sambi wore the number 48 for a reason. He is using that number to refer to the postcode of his town – NDLA: 4800.
The Lokonga family has lived in Verviers, a town that has contributed to Sambi’s success, for years. The other day, on a beautiful Thursday evening, Simbi received a prestigious award from his hometown, Verviers, in which he received the Lean Voisin Trophy. Verviers is a town that never forgets its heroes.
Lokonga is very religious, as are many footballers with Congo African roots. Since he believes in the Christianity faith and the raising of their hands to signal – a sign of praise to God – is not an issue with him.

Conclusion
Albert Sambi Lokonga was born into a football family. The father of the boy, Desire Lokonga, was a former footballer who had his career in the Democratic Republic of the Congo before the First Congo War began.
As Sambi was living a much-improved life in Belgium, Losee (his mother) and Desire (his father) gave birth to him. Desire struggled with retirement at the time, so he made sure that Sambi and his brother lived up to the family dream.
Sambi’s elder brother, Paul-Jose M’Poku, ensured that he learned life values from his elder brother. When it came to his siblings (including Fabrice, his immediate younger sibling), he was the one who led by example -and by example, he created a picture of what can be achieved.
This didn’t happen without Paul making career mistakes and ensuring that his brothers view his mistakes as a potential learning experience. Now that Sambi has made the right decision, he is extremely glad – that he has made the right choice. Sambi’s success would not have been possible without the help of his parents and big brothers.

Early Life And Family Background
‘The Tiger’ is the nickname given to a legendary football poacher by Woodgram, who presents the full story of his life.
With Radamel Falcao Biography Facts, we provide you with a complete account of notable events from his childhood to the present. Falcao’s biography examines his life before fame, his family life, and many OFF and ON-Pitch little-known facts.
Everyone is aware of his ability to score goals. Nevertheless, few soccer fans have read the concise biography of Radamel Falcao, which is quite interesting. Let’s begin now, without further ado.
Radamel Falcao Childhood Life And Family Background
The football legend, Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate, was born in Santa Marta, Colombia on the 10th of February 1986.
He was born to Radamel Garcia, a former footballer, and Carmenza Zárate, a housekeeper.
Upon his birth, his father named him Falcao in honor of the ex-Brazilian midfielder Paulo Alberto Falcao. His family does not include him.
In ideal circumstances, no member of his family has ever used the name Falcao. Although he could only crawl when he was a child, he watched his dad play football and requested the same size football to be placed at his feet.
His tenacity earned him the nickname “El Tigre” (“The Tiger”) from teammates at Club Atlético River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As can be seen here, he has grown into a handsome boy with a fine open tooth.
After moving to Club Atlético River Plate in Argentina, he moved to FC Porto in Portugal and Atlético Madrid in Spain, where they finished fifth in the 2012 Ballon d’Or voting.
In Columbia, the Radamel Falcao Family is well-known for its football males and devoted mother.
First of all, his father Radamel Enrique García was born in Santa Marta in 1956. As a father, he shared a greater football heritage with his son.
During the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, Radamel Garcia was a star football player. He earned the right to use his son (Falcao) as the team’s mascot due to his popularity.
As with Leroy Sane, Edinson Cavani, and Juan Mata, Radamel Falcao is supported by his father.
About Radamel Falcao Mother
In any case, if we add the fact that Carmenza Zárate is the mother of Radamel Falcao to the name, many will be shocked.
Although she was the wife of a footballer who traveled the world and didn’t settle in one place, she knew how to guide him.
As a footballer, I was willing to help him form, grow, mature, and let him take his own path with free will.
When he was a child, she taught him about Jesus through bedtime stories. The person who always supported Falcao in soccer and in his search for God was his mother.
Radamel Falcao and his mother remain inseparable to this day. Having understood his vocation from an early age, she dedicated her life to accompanying, supporting, and inspiring him.
When her son was criticized in England, the mother of the Colombian striker spoke publicly to put an end to all the rumors.
Carmenza Zárate writes, “The world of football has witnessed Radamel Falcao Garcia’s reign.”
It has been criticized by some and supported by others. It is my pleasure to tell you all that my son will return to his best level as soon as possible. His strength and abilities are in my hands.”
Upon rejoining Monaco, her son returned to his goal-scoring ways.
Lastly, Falcao’s mother graduated from the prestigious National University of Colombia with a degree in Economics.
Someday, she dreams of becoming Minister of Finance for the country. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Raheem Sterling also received motherly support from Radamel Falcao.
About Radamel Falcao Sister
For his part, Radamel Falcao admires his two American sisters, Michelle Andrea and Melanie Grecia, both tennis players.
Due to her talent and trophy wins, Michelle Andrea is the more famous of the two. When Michelle won a major summer tournament, Falcao posted a photo of her on Twitter.

During his childhood, Herbert King (from his mother’s side) played basketball and then became an actor. He is best known for his role as priest Venancio in a popular Colombian film.
Argentine singer and model Lorelei Taron has been Falcao’s wife since December 2007. The couple met in a church while Falcao was playing for River at the age of 18. Falcao announced early in 2013 that he was expecting his first child with her.
She was born at the Princess Grace Hospital in La Colle, Monaco, on 13 August 2013. It was in February 2015 that he gave birth to his second daughter, Desirée Garca Tarón. His third daughter, Annette García Tarón, was born in August of 2017. Falcao remarried in December 2018.
Both Falcao and Lorelei announced on social media in March 2020 that they were expecting their fourth child. September 2020 marked the birth of Jedediah Garca Tarón, their first son and fourth child.
His children also hold Polish passports, thanks to Monaco teammate Kamil Glik, who helped with the process thanks to his wife’s Polish heritage. The devout Christian Falcao said about his faith that the group hid from him on Sunday when he would ask for us in every room to take us to church.

The Death Threats
Some Colombian fans lit candles, while others sent death threats to Monts d’Or Azergues defender Soner Ertek, despite publicly apologizing to Falcao via Twitter.
Soner Ertek is the defender who injured Falcao and prevented him from participating in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. On Saturday, Radamel Falcao sent a message on Twitter to Ertek prior to undergoing surgery on his injured cruciate ligaments.

He has Italian ancestry. He began working as a caddy at The Links Golf Club at the age of 12, which was close to his boyhood home.
During his stay there, he caddied for a number of Wall Street pros, including Wall Street veteran George Leib. For family meals and holiday get-togethers, Leib and his wife Isabelle invited Dalio to their Park Avenue apartment. Dalio later received a summer job at the trading business owned by the couple’s Wall Street trader son.
He started investing when he was 12 years old and paid $300 for shares in Northeast Airlines. After the airline merged with another firm, he double his investment. He had amassed a few thousand dollar investment portfolios by the time he entered high school. He established the Dalio Foundation, his own private charity organisation. The Dalio Foundation had $590 million in assets by the end of 2012.
The foundation’s assets rose to roughly $842 million thanks to Dalio’s further contribution of $400 million in 2013.Millions of dollars have been donated to the David Lynch Foundation, which supports and funds studies on Transcendental Meditation, by Dalio’s foundation.
The National Philanthropic Trust and polio eradication initiatives have both received funding from the Dalio Foundation. Since 2020, Dalio has been a member of the board of trustees at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The Dalio Foundation contributed $10 million in February 2020 to help China’s attempts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic’s coronavirus outbreak.
The organisation donated the state of Connecticut $4 million in March 2020 to support nutrition and healthcare. With a grant of $50 million, NYP established the Dalio Center for Health Justice on October 13, 2020.This research and advocacy group’s goal is to lessen the disparities in access to high-quality healthcare that disproportionately impact communities of colour.
The Dalio Center for Health Justice was founded with the aid of the funds.Dalio stated in a statement, “We think that equal healthcare and equal education are the most essential building blocks of equal opportunity and just society. Our purpose is to contribute to these causes.”The Fund for Teachers project, which helps fund teacher fellowships for professional development, has also received financing from the foundation.

Ray Dalio Family
Professional Career
College
Dalio attended high school and was a typical student. He did not see any real-world uses for the abilities he was gaining in school, and he found it repetitious and dull. He struggled to locate a college to enrol in as a result. He eventually submitted an application and was accepted at C.W. Post College, a branch of Long Island University.
In college, he kept buying and selling stocks, but he started to be drawn to commodities futures. At the time, commodity futures had modest borrowing requirements, and Dalio believed he could benefit handsomely from them rather than from straightforward equities. He was also starting to like school at this time.
He began practising transcendental meditation after being granted more freedom, and he continues to do so now. With his growing need for knowledge and his newly discovered method of controlling stress and attention, Dalio achieved academic success. He got accepted to Harvard Business School after graduating from C.W. Post College.
Graduate studies
Dalio had a free summer following his C.W. Post College graduation. On the New York Stock Exchange, he accepted a position as a clerk. He saw Nixon’s decision to remove the United States from the gold standard when he was there. Stock prices on the exchange increased the following day by an average of 33% as a result of the inflation this brought about.
The Great Inflation of the 1970s was brought on by these occurrences. Prices soared as a result of the combination of a loose monetary policy and a lack of budgetary restraint. After his freshman year at Harvard, the following summer, Dalio and his friends founded the business that would eventually become Bridgewater Associates.
It was once a little organisation with a focus on trading goods. However, because of their inexperience, the endeavour was unsuccessful. Despite the failure of the first Bridgewater, Dalio kept the brand and utilised it to launch the biggest hedge fund in history.
After the stock market crashed due to the high-interest rates employed to fight inflation, this experience of trading commodities became considerably more important. Wall Street investors were prompted by this to invest in commodities, which are frequently more durable and successful during inflationary periods.
Professional beginning
Dalio got married and had a family after receiving his Harvard degree. He relocated to Wilton, Connecticut, and set up shop in a former barn. Then Dalio engaged in futures trading on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Later, he worked for Dominick & Dominick LLC as the Director of Commodities. He started working as a futures trader and broker for Sandy Weil’s securities company, Shearson Hayden Stone, in 1974. Weil eventually gained notoriety for creating Citigroup.
Dalio’s role at the company was to counsel grain and other agricultural producers, cattle ranchers, and other farmers on risk hedging strategies, particularly using futures. However, he was most unhappy with Shearson Hayden Stone’s hierarchical system, which made him think of his primary school days.He yearned for the more liberated way of life of the college.
At one time, he paid a stripper to undress in front of a throng at the California Food and Grain Growers’ Association’s annual conference. After going out drinking with some coworkers, including his boss, on New Year’s Eve in 1974, he proceeded to express himself creatively until he erupted. Dalio, who was intoxicated, hit his supervisor in the face during an argument. He lost his employment at Shearson Hayden Stone shortly after that.
Bridgewater Associates’ founding
Numerous Shearson Hayden Stone clients continued to trust Dalio and let him handle their money in spite of his hostile behaviour. He was able to pull together the foundation of his asset management fund with the help of this money. He started Bridgewater Associates in 1975 from a two-bedroom apartment in New York City.
Bridgewater originally operated as a wealth advisory business, serving a large number of corporate customers, many of whom Dalio had acquired while working at Shearson Hayden Stone. Dalio mostly provided advice on currencies and interest rates. The business started releasing a paid research report called Daily Observations, in which it examined trends in the world market.
McDonald’s being a client of Dalio’s business was his big break. Then, Bridgewater started to expand quickly. The World Bank and Eastman Kodak pension funds were among the bigger clients that the business landed.Ray and his wife decided to raise a family in Westport, Connecticut, so the company established an office there in 1981.
After benefiting financially from the 1987 stock market meltdown, Dalio began to gain notoriety outside of Wall Street. He participated in the Oprah Winfrey Show segment “Do Foreigners Own America?” the following year. He introduced Bridgewater’s most well-known strategy, “Pure Alpha,” in 1991, which is a play on the Greek letter that, in Wall Street lingo, stands for the premium a money manager might make above a specific market benchmark, such as the NASDAQ.
All Weather, a fund that Dalio started in 1996, was the forerunner of the steady, low-risk approach that would eventually be known as risk parity.Ray and his wife decided to raise a family in Westport, Connecticut, so the company established an office there in 1981. Rise To Fame And Prominence
In 2005, Bridgewater Associates rose to the position of largest hedge fund globally. It lost money only three times between 1991 and 2005, and never by more than 4%. The S&P 500 saw three negative years over the same time span, with a negative return of 22.1% in 2002. Utilizing the traditional hedge fund model, which takes a 2 per cent management fee of assets and 20 per cent of annual gains gained through using an investment strategy, the fund increased in size.
The $196 billion California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), the $27 billion Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System (Penn SERS or SERS), the Melbourne-based National Australia Bank Ltd., and the pension fund of Hartford, Connecticut-based United Technologies Corp.
were just a few of the enormous institutions that Dalio was managing money for by 2005. The possibility of a worldwide financial disaster was raised by Bridgewater in 2007, and Dalio wrote “How the Economic Machine Works: A Template for Understanding What is Happening Now” in 2008, an article evaluating the potential of various economies using a variety of metrics. In 2007, the company’s total assets under management climbed to $50 billion from $33 billion.
Nobody, according to a 2007 Barron article, “was more prepared for the global market meltdown” than Bridgewater’s customers and Daily Observations members. In the spring of 2007, the corporation “started raising sirens about the risks of excessive financial debt.” Researchers at the company found that the expected future liabilities for bad debts reached $839 billion after looking through the public data of the majority of the leading financial institutions around the globe.
These results were presented but mostly disregarded, in a December meeting between Dalio and representatives of the US Treasury Department and other White House economic advisers. This study helped investors in Bridgewater’s Pure Alpha fund escape a large portion of the 2008 stock market crash. After deducting fees, the value of Bridgewater’s flagship Pure Alpha fund increased by 9.5 per cent in 2008, a terrible year for many of its competitors.
Dalio achieved this by foreseeing that the Federal Reserve would need to print a significant amount of money in order to boost the economy. He purchased gold and other commodities, shorted the currency, and went long on Treasury bonds. John McCain visited the company and chatted with employees while running for president in 2008.
The following year wasn’t as promising. The company’s Pure Alpha fund apparently only made 2 to 4 per cent in 2009, despite the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising by 19% and economic growth exceeding expectations. In 2011, Dalio self-published Principles, a 123-page book that details his approach to corporate governance and investing. By the end of that year, Dalio was in charge of money management for the SERS, Kodak, General Motors, and the Singapore Government Investment Corporation.
He was listed as one of the 2012 Time 100 most important persons in the world. He was ranked by Bloomberg Markets as one of the 50 Most Influential People in 2011 and 2012. Bridgewater’s Pure Alpha II under Dalio’s direction achieved an average return of 10.4% and only three losing years in its lifetime. The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) paid $250 million for a stake in Bridgewater Associates Intermediate Holdings, LP in February 2012.
Due to the non-voting nature of this share, the pension fund had very little influence on corporate governance. On its 2012 Rich List, Institutional Investor’s Alpha rated Dalio second. Since the company’s founding, Dalio has overseen Bridgewater Associates alongside co-chief investment officers Bob Prince and Greg Jensen. The hedge fund only lately disclosed intentions to change into a partnership.
According to Dalio, this is due to the company’s ongoing sustainability and profit-sharing. Before announcing in March 2017 that he will resign as part of a company-wide shakeup by April 15, Dalio served as Bridgewater’s co-CEO for ten months. To locate a replacement, the corporation has been through seven-year management and equity change.
The fund’s co-CEO Jon Rubinstein was revealed to retire with Dalio but will continue in an advising capacity. Bridgewater Associates managed $160 billion of assets as of October 2017. Dalio has described himself as a “hyperrealist,” and this trait drives him to comprehend the mechanics that determine how the world truly runs, without putting in abstract value judgements, in reference to the personality that has contributed to his success as an investor.
Investment Strategies
With Bridgewater Associates, Dalio employs a variety of strategies, distributing cash to each as he deems suitable. Bridgewater Associates, in Dalio’s words, is a “global macro business” that makes investments based on macroeconomic patterns such as changes in inflation, G.D.P. growth, and exchange rate fluctuations.
Dalio was described as “a big-picture thinker coupled to a street-smart trader” by The New Yorker. Beta investments and alpha investments are the two distinct categories into which Dalio separates his assets. Beta investments generate profits through typical market risk and passive management.
The goal of actively managed alpha investments is to outperform beta investments in terms of returns. Investments in alpha have no connection to the overall market. In order to find fresh assets while avoiding fanciful historical models, Dalio employs “quantitative” investment techniques.Instead of focusing on asset allocations, Dalio wants to develop portfolios with uncorrelated investment results. The majority of the capital that Dalio’s hedge fund receives comes from institutional investors including pension funds, foundations, endowments, and central banks.
Rarely is private capital available to invest in Dalio’s holdings.Like his colleagues, quantitative hedge fund managers David Elliot Shaw and Jim Simons, Dalio converts his market observations into algorithms for application. His approach largely concentrates on a fixed income and currency markets.
Contrast this with individual stock purchases made by investors like Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch. The risk parity strategy, which Dalio utilises within Bridgewater Associates for risk management and diversification, was also made popular by Dalio.According to Bloomberg, Dalio uses an investment approach that combines traditional diversification with “wagers on or against markets throughout the world.”
Leverage, external diversification, and short selling are all permitted when investing using Dalio’s risk parity strategy. As a result, Dalio is free to combine any assets into his investment portfolio. An ideal risk goal level serves as the foundation for Dalio’s strategy’s investment decisions. This is, in contrast, to set a risk goal and then allocate funds.
In order to apply this approach and maintain the optimal risk target level, Dalio uses leverage to fairly spread exposure across different asset classes. In order to distinguish the deleveraging and deflationary process of the subprime mortgage business from a recession, Dalio coined the word “d-process” in February 2009.
He then included the phrase in his investing philosophy. The specifics of Dalio’s investment holdings are mainly kept a secret from the public. Only twelve individuals at his company at any given moment have a working understanding of how it trades, which includes the majority of workers and outside investors.
His net worth as of 2023 is $16.2 Billion. According to press estimates, the majority of Dalio’s wealth comes from his ownership of the closely held Bridgewater Associates, which, as of December 2021, managed over $150 billion in assets. In a June 28, 2018, interview with Bloomberg Television, Dalio said he owned less than half the company.
Dalio is recognised as owning 49.9% of Bridgewater. His ownership is worth $7.3 billion. According to a quarterly report, the Teacher Retirement System of Texas valued its 2.35 per cent at $343 million as of March 31, 2021. According to Form ADV, Bridgewater’s limited partner interests are owned by additional institutional investors. Due to the lack of information, Dalio is not given credit for any money received from those investors save the Texas investor.
According to statistics gathered by Bloomberg, Absolute Return, LCH Investments, and Institutional Investor Alpha magazines, Dalio is estimated to have collected more than $12 billion since 2002 from his part of the hedge fund’s revenues and his returns on investments in the funds.
This sum is reduced by staff bonuses, capital gains taxes, and charity donations, which are disclosed in publicly available foundation tax reports. These tax records reveal that the millionaire has donated about $1.3 billion to the Dalio Foundation. Through a spokeswoman, Alexi Nabarro, Dalio chose not to address his wealth.
